Cats and Owls

The day that everyone in the volleyball club had been waiting for finally arrived. Sadly the boys ended up failing the exam even after all the prep....
The rest of the team seemed a little off because the two energetic bois weren't there.

"Let's keep our heads up guys! Just because Hinata and Kageyama aren't here don't be discouraged." The captain said to the team.

"Yeah it's not our fault they are dumb." Tsukki said.

You rolled your eyes as you walked with him and Yamaguchi to the court.

"Heads!!"

You looked up to see Tsukki block the ball coming for you guys.

"Waoh Tsukki!!!~~"

You and Yamaguchi said at the same time. Tsukki just rolled his eyes and walked on, trying to ignore the stares coming from the rooster head guy and his pals.

"Yama-chan who's that?" You asked pointing and the school with the blue shirts.

"I believe it's Fukurodani they are known in this area as the owls."

"Ah. Owls, cats, and crows..."

After kags and Hinata finished their class in the morning they were rushed over by Tanaka's sister. While they were out Karasuno was on a big losing streak. You sighed and the doors opened to show kags and Hinata.

"Better late than never.." you smiled at them.

They ran over to stretch and warm up to get ready. Watching them play made you feel some kind of way. It was amazing how in sync they were even if they did lose.
After all the matches were done for the day you walked over to Hinata and kags.

"Nice job out there guys!"

"Nice job? We lost how was that nice?"

You backed up a little at kags words.

"I'm sorry you lost but it was still amazing to watch. Besides this is practice.."

"Tch yeah right who wants to watch us lose.. come on Hinata let's practice a bit more!"

You sighed and saw Tsukki walking out.

"Hey can I walk back with you?"

"Why me? Aren't you going to wait for your precious king?"

"No I'm not he wants to practice more!"
You said and rolled your eyes.

"Oh jealous of a sport are we?" He smirked and pat your head.
"I guess you can walk back with me."

You walked out with him.

"So how come you don't practice as much as the rest Kei?"

Tsukki looked at you weird since you haven't called him Kei in a long time. Then back up.

"It's just a club I don't see why everyone pours their heart and soul into it. I play volleyball to kill time."

"Huh that sounds kinda lame glasses."

You and Tsukki both froze and turned around to see rooster hair.

"Good evening Rooster-kun sorry we bothered you." You said and bowed slightly.

"Oh don't worry you didn't I actually ran after you guys because we're short a player. Mind helping us out glasses.~"

He said with a wink at Tsukki.

"Sorry but I'm done for the night and can't you see I busy talking to someone."

"Come on Kei I don't think it'll take too long just play a set with them?"

He glared at you because in his head he thought you would help him. He sighed and looked at rooster-kun.

"Fine I'll play.."

You walked with them to the other gym and saw 3 other people a really tall guy with white hair and green eyes, a pretty guy with black hair and teal eyes, and the last one had hair that reminded you of a horned owl he had yellow eyes. You looked up at rooster-kun.

"So hello my name is (F/N) (L/N) nice to meet you all and the tall rat is Kei Tsukishima."

Tsukki rolled his eyes and waved.

Rooster-kun went first with introductions.

"I'm Tetsurō Kuroo. The owl looking guy is Kōtarō Bokuto, the one next to him is Keiji Akaashi and the tall idiot is Lev Haiba."

"Um I thought you said you were down a player? You have 4 people." You said to him.

"Well Lev isn't on either teams he just kind of passed out after trying to receive the balls."

"Ah. Ok well have fun Kei I'll watch."

You watched them play for a good hour until some of the managers for Fukurodani came in saying that dinner was almost over. That had them running out and pushing Tsukki and you to the lunch room. You got your food and sat with Tsukki and the four other guys.

"So this is your first year managing the volleyball team?" Akaashi asked.

"Yeah it was kinda hard since I was afraid of the ball for a long time. I'm getting over it slowly."

"Ah that's good volleyball is fun to watch and play so I hope you enjoy it."

"YEAH VOLLEYBALL IS SUPPER FUN (F/N)-CHAN. JUST WATCH ME AND AKAASHI WILL GET YOU OVER YOUR FEAR OF THE BALL!"

"Bokuto-san please be quiet she's only sitting one seat away from you.."

You laughed and nodded.

"I'm in your care Akaashi-senpai Bokuto-senpai!"

They both nodded and kept eating you felt stares at you and Tsukki. You turned to Tsukki who also seemed to notice said stares.

"Looks like the chaotic duo is staring into our souls."

He looked at the and cocked an eyebrow at them.

"What are you two idiots staring at?"

They both looked away from Tsukki and you. Kags didn't like that you were surrounded by guys but he didn't know how to apologise after he raised his voice at you. He just sat there and thought to himself.

I hope this was ok :-: I am living for akaboku right now so please don't flame me if there are a lot of fluffs between them. It's like my favorite ship in Haikyu besides daisuga. As always be safe and don't forget to eat and drink water 💜💜
