Chapter 34

Yesterday I found out I got into my dream school aka Harvard. The only people that know is literally just Myke and my mom. I am still in disbelief on what happened. I of course called Harvard right away and accepted their offer and it kinda sucks that Jefnier isn't here to celebrate with me. He knew how big of a dream this was for me and he supported me a lot through out the way but he made his decision.

I heard someone come in to my room without knocking and I instantly knew who that was. Only two people do that Myke and Jefnier and well Jefnier and I aren't on speaking terms right now.

"CONGRATULATIONS PEACHES" I heard him yell and I opened my eyes. He had a bunch of balloons and a cake that said "Harvard Class of 2024". I had a huge smile on my face and i jumped up and hugged him.

"Thank you" I told him and he gave me a kiss on the forehead.

"I'm so proud of you peaches you've busted your ass since you were in kindergarten to get where you are and have gone through so much and hell you still are but you pull through " he said and I was tearing up. He's right I have been busting my shit my whole life for this I can not and I will not let anybody take this away from me.

" thank you . How about I change and get ready  and we eat some cake downstairs" I said to him and he nodded. He left my room and I ran to my closet and choose what I was wearing today. I know that if I wear the Harvard shirt that Harvard sent me would be cheesy pero I want to take pictures to remember this moment. I ran into the shower and took a quick one. I got ready and everything took me about 40 minutes which is honestly not bad.

I walked to the kitchen and saw my mom and myke talking. they turned to me because I'm guessing they heard me walk towards them.
"You look gorgeous sweetheart" my mom said and myke nodded agreeing. I could tell my mom was tearing up because I told her I would never wear a Harvard shirt until I got in.

"Thank you. I wanted to take some pictures with you guys and the cake and balloons" I told them and they nodded. We took a couple pictures. Once we were done with the pictures we went back into the house and ate some cake.

"Did they tell you when you can move in to your room"Myke asked me and I nodded.

"Yeah they told me I can move in next month since I technically don't live in the United States I can move in a couple days earlier than everybody else"I said to him and he nodded understanding. (I know that's not how regular admissions go to universities but just go along with it). 

"I'm going to post a picture on instagram" I told them and they nodded. I picked my cutest picture of me in my Harvard shirt. I captioned it  '  I can't believe I got into my dream school and their PreMed program! Harvard 24' 

"So do you guys have any plans today"Myke asked my mom and I.

"I work tonight unfortunately"my mom said with a slight frown.

"and I don't" I told him and he smiled.

"Okay well I wanted to go out to a restaurant to celebrate "Myke said with a grin and I nodded. "well then ill pick you up at six because I actually have to leave right now to the studio "he said.

"Okay then ill see you at six" I told him and he pulled me in for a hug and said goodbye to both my mom and I.

"Have you told Jef? Why isn't he here? "my mom asked me clearly confused. I still haven't told her about the break up. I actually forgot about it for a minute but right when she said that it all came crashing down to me. I could tell she noticed right away.

"We broke up" I told her and my voice cracked a little.

"Oh no honey why"she asked me and I just started crying she instantly pulled me in for hug. I did not want to tell her the real reason why because if I did she would probably destroy her friendship with jefnier's mom since they dramatic like that.
