When our shifts over, we found a tree that was close to the café and closed our eyes. I let my self cuddle up to Nicole and she wrapped her arms around me, keeping me warm.

We slept under this tree every night. It has being a week now and we still have no plan. I think we were running out of time, by now they would be looking for us and I wanted to find her before I was locked away forever.

It was bright when I opened my eyes, I had no idea the time.

"Nicole?" I whispered.

She opened her pretty eyes and smiled at me.

"We should be heading to the café, we are on breakfast shift" I told her.

She nodded. "Right than let's go"

She picked up her bag and I picked up mine and we headed over to the café.

"Morning kids, help you self to the breakfast, we aren't opening for another twenty minutes so go on and get some food your tummies" Sarah told us happily.

Nicole smiled at me and we went into the back and made our selves some food.

I liked Sarah, she was always making sure that our stomachs were full and that we were okay. I don't think she knew the truth about us, or maybe she did and she did not care.

"You kids, better hurry up, it's the breakfast rush coming in!" Sarah called peeking in though the doors.

"Ill be right out, almost done!" I called back.

I took the last bite of my pancake and waved to Nicole and ran out.

I tired my apron on and put my pad of paper and pen into it and smiled at Sarah.

"Go refill that ladies coffee" Sarah ordered me.

I pulled the coffee pot from its place and went around the counter and smiled at the woman as I refilled her coffee.

"Thank you" she smiled.

I went into the back and wet a cloth. Sarah wasn't anywhere in sight.

As I walked out, I thought about my brother, I haven't thought about him in awhile. I dropped the cloth on to an empty table and took a seat putting my head in my hands.

It hurt to think of him, he would have being so happy that I had gotten a job.

I felt a warm hand on my shoulder, "Jaydee, are you okay?"

I looked up to see Sarah standing over me.

"Yeah just felt a little dizzy"

"Are you alright?" she asked worried.

"Yes I'm fine"

Nicole kissed my cheek.

I smiled at he, as another woman walked in.

I couldn't see her face; it was covered with a large tanned sun hat.

"I have to go help this woman, don't worry I'm fine"

The woman sat down at table and took off her hat.

"Can I get you something?" I asked with a smile.

The woman smiled without looking at me.

My stomach clenched. My head started to spin. I knew this woman, she was no ordinary customer. My eyes closed and everything went black. I could hear people yelling my name, asking if I was alright. I slowly opened my eyes, at first everything was blurry, but it cleared after a few seconds.
