The next day I got ready and went for the meeting.
"Hey! Good morning, Y/n" the director greeted
"Very good morning sir" I greeted back
"Please have a seat" the director said
"Thank u so much. So I guess u already have the papers ready" I asked after being seated
"Yes I do have them ready. Your manager is pretty punctual. He already gave them to me earlier. Now u only have to sign them. And I'm glad that u finally accepted the offer." The director said handing me the pen
"I have to sign here, right?" I asked
"Yes. And also at the back" he guides
"Done" I said handing back the papers. "If everything is done then I would like to take a leave" I said
"Sure. And again thank u so much for accepting our offer. The shoots will start from next week so we will inform u a day ahead of the shoot." He said explaining me everything.
"Cool. I'll take a leave now. Bye" I said and left.
I looked at the time. Damnn I'm late. Jimin might be waiting for me. I hurried and made my way to the car. And I made sure to remove my mask before leaving the building.
"Where shall I drive u miss?" My driver asked.
"I'm so sorry Johnny I forgot to tell u. Take me to the green leaf restaurant." I was sitting like a dumbhead instead of telling him the place.
Suddenly my phone started ringing:
(On call):
"Hey kook!! Good afternoon." I said.
"Wassup! Did u go to the meeting" he asked.
"Yes I did. Now I'm on my way to meet my friend." I said happily
"Friend?" He asked confused
"Oh yes u don't know about him. He is my best friend. He wasn't in the town for 2 weeks so now I'm going on a lunch with him to catch up on all our gossips." I said
"Him? U mean your best friend is a guy?" He said with jealousy full on display.
"Yah! U don't have to get jealous. He is a really nice guy. And when u come back I want u to meet him. U will love to hangout with him as well." I said trying to explain how good jimin really is.
"If he is your friend then I do trust him and I would love to meet him." he said with generosity.
"When r u coming back? Tomorrow?" I asked
"Well yes!! Tomorrow in the noon. And the first thing I'll do is come to your place cuz I'm missing u sooooo much and then maybe we can cook dinner together and watch a movie." He said excitedly
"Sounds perfect. I have many good movies that we can watch, all from different genres. But now can we talk later. Ive reached the restaurant." I asked.
"Yup. No problem. Bye"
Dang it!! I'm 20 minutes late. Now where do I find him.
"Y/nnnnnn" I heard jimin shouting from a corner.
I made my way towards him. More like I ran towards him but never mind.
"Jimin-ah" I hugged him tightly.
"I missed u" he said
"I missed u too" I said while pulling away from the hug.
"Let's sit. People r glaring at us" he said while laughing.
"So...how was the wedding" I asked curiously.
"It was a whole blast. I enjoyed a lot" he answered.
"I thought u would bring a chic from America with u" I said jokingly
"Well I asked her but she denied" he said while laughing. "U say, what were u upto while I was gone" he asked
"Nothing much. Just busy with work. But I do have something to tell u" I said smirking
"Smirking and all huh. Is it what I'm thinking" he asked curiously
"Maybe yes. Do u remember I told u about the duet shoot with that other secret model from chanel?"
"Yes. I do. What about him"
"Well....." I was about to speak but he cut me off.
"No...don't tell me y/n!! U and him?? Are u guys a thing or something" he asked excitedly
"Not yet." I said
"Why??" He asked making a sad face
"Well u know about the dating contract thing. Mine is still left, for 3 more months." I said
A waiter came to take the order. "What would like to have sir"
"Whatever special dish u have for today" jimin said
"Ok sir" he noted the order and left.
"Ok so y/n If it's only 3 months, u can start dating secretly" jimin suggested
"I know but what if someone finds out?" I asked worried.
"U just need to be careful. And u r good at keeping secrets and the biggest example is your identity. But what about his contract" he asked
"It's already over so he is free to date" I replied.
"Well then what r u waiting for y/n??!
He is nice guy, right?" He asked
"Yes he definitely is. And u know what he used to be my neighbour but later he moved out. He used to live with his friend. But I never knew about him cuz u know how introverted I'm so I don't care who lives next to me." I told him everything.
"True that. So he knew who u were?"
"No. But his friend did. His name is Jackson. He kept it a secret for me. We have become very good friends now. We often hangout at each others place." I said smiling and thinking how much of a dork jackson is.
"U made a new friend and a soon-to-be-boyfriend behind my back??! Well now I'm jealous, not of that boyfriend guy but of Jackson" he said while pouting.
"Here is your order sir. Enjoy your meal!" The waiter said serving us our food.
"Thank u so much" I replied
"And yah U don't have to be jealous of Jackson. Right now they r in busan but once they come back we will have a dinner party at my place. All 4 of us. I'll introduce u to them. U would love them."
"Done. I can't wait to meet- wait...what is your soon to be boyfriends name?" He asked
"Ahh yes I forgot to tell u. His name is jungkook. Jeon jungkook."
"Ooooo nice!! I can't wait to meet Mr. Jeon jungkook" he said giggling.
