I got home around 6 pm. I surprisingly enjoyed spending some time with him. I thought he would just sit there , talk about random things and leave. But instead we talked a lot about each others interests.
We both have many things in common like, to get dressed in all black, timberlands r love, fond of different adventures and so on.
I never thought of him having a soft side like this where he just becomes himself and keeps talking and has the ability to make others smile. I witnessed it today and I loved it.
Enough of thinking about him now. I guess I should try making dinner by myself today. It's been long since I last cooked for myself tho. I went to the kitchen to find something to cook.
"ARE U KIDDING ME!!??!!" I almost yelled looking at the empty fridge.
How can I not have any damn thing to cook. Like I know it's been long and I haven't went for grocery shopping but damn I can't find a single thing, like not even 1 egg.
If I don't want to sleep hungry I should get going for grocery shopping. I have a convenience store down the street so I'll just walk.
I was looking for some eggs and noodles when my eyes laid on someone.
"Is it JK?" I asked as if some angel would pop up out of nowhere and answer me.
He turned around and yesssss it's him!
"JK!!!" I shouted calling his name.
"Oh hey y/n! What r u doing here?" He asked coming towards me.
"Just for some grocery shopping. I won't ask u cuz it's pretty obvious that u r here for the same reason"
"He he....why don't u come at my place for dinner today. If u want we can cook together." He asked excitedly
"Sounds great" I said agreeing
"Well then let's go I already have everything we need. But wait if u need anything then u can go and buy,I'll be waiting outside" he said.
"Cool.....just give me 5 minutes" I replied
But I turned around and said "if u want to get going it's fine...I'll come at your place after I finish shopping"
"It's okay I'll wait....we'll walk together" he said smiling
"O-okay sounds great"
I bought some important things like eggs, milk and some instant noodles and made my way out to JK.
"Let's go...I'm done"
We started making our way to our apartment.
"I never knew u can cook" I said shocked
"I learnt cooking a few months back. My mom taught me. She said if I want to live alone then it's the only choice"
He said.
"She is right though. My mom is the same. First she never liked the idea of living me alone and have my own place because she knew that I can't cook at all. She was worried about me. But somehow I convinced her and learnt cooking and moved here in Seoul"
"It means Seoul isn't your hometown?" He asked
"Nope. My hometown is ilsaan" I replied.
We reached our apartment.
"I'll just keep these things at my place and will be back" I said
"Cool" he replied
After keeping all my stuff I made my way towards his place.
"So what would u like to eat" he asked
"Anything u r best at" I said
"I thought we were cooking together!" he exclaimed. "But it's fine cuz it's your first time eating something made by me so I'll let u pass this time" he said
"Great...and don't worry if u want I'll help u with the dishes" I said
"No need of that....I was just joking. Consider this as my home treat" he said smiling.
He started cooking and I was just watching him cook while sitting at the counter table in kitchen.
"I must say u know the right proportions of the ingredients" I said surprised
"Thanks. It's because I cook everyday so now even if u will wake me up from my sleep and ask, I won't make a mistake in telling u these proportions" he said jokingly.
He cooked pretty fast and now he was setting the plates on the dinner table. He served me the food. I must say it smells great.
"Eat and tell me" he said
"Wowww!!!! It's tasty!! I never expected this from u to be honest. U cook beyond my expectations" I said feeling amazed by his skills.
"Thanks"
We were chatting while eating.
"So why did u move to Seoul?" He asked
"Modelling was my dream. I sent my portfolios to many companies. I got selected by 3 companies and of then was gucci. And this was my only chance to get a step closer to my dream even though I had to leave my parents and my home" I said explaining him.
"Hmmm" he hummed in response.
"Where r ur parents? I mean where do they live?" I asked
"They live in busan" he replied
Wait- NO-
"And tomorrow I'm going to busan to meet my parents" he continued
U HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!!
I FREAKING CHOKED ON MY FOOD!!!!
