Chapter 18

Jongho POV

I couldn't help but notice how cute Adara really was. When seeing her fall asleep, she looked so calm and peaceful, like she didn't fit the mafia world. Her smile is just so cute and the way she looks at you sometimes is just cute too.

What are you thinking Jongho? You can't fall in love with her.

I know, hyung will kill me if i do.

Exactly, stop thinking like that and ignore it.

I can't ignore it.

Stop being naïve, you've been able to ignore it with every other girl you've had to work with.

I know, but she's... Different

I pushed the the voice away and we got dressed and headed downstairs, talking along the way. We got downstairs and saw everyone down there but what me and Adara saw wasn't what we expected.

Hongjoong was chasing around Hana.. she must of said something to him. Yeosang was... Talking!? Omg he's actually talking!? Bro I thought that boy didn't have a voice. He's talking to Aithne... So she is able to make him talk even though she doesn't know him well? Interesting. I see Wooyoung giving Aithne a death glare, clearly not happy that yeosang is talking to her and not him. I see San trying to talk to Woo and yunho and mingi just being... Well... Yunho and mingi. The girls seem to be ignoring what's happening and having a conversation of their own and to top it all off, Seonghwa hyung looking so done with them all.

What happened in a space of maybe around an hour!??

"What the hell is going on?" Adara shouts over the chatter so everyone could hear her.

All the girls visibly panic. Why I don't know. Adara isn't that scary and wouldn't hurt them so why are the panicking?

"Nothing-" Aithne starts but is cut off which visibly annoyed her.

"She was being mean to me" hongjoong says whilst painting at Hana, sounding like a child.

"Mean!? I was only having fun... Teasing you" Hana then replies, almost whispering the last bit.

"Okay but have you not noticed Yeosang actually talking?" I interrupt them before they start bickering again. Can't they just get along?

"Wait.. what?" Hongjoong, San, Yunho, Mingi and Dakota all say in sync. God these bitches are dumb sometimes.

"He was actually having a full blown conversation with Aithne" I then say.

"Wait.. he doesn't normally speak?" Aithne then says, clearly confused along with the other girls.

"You see, he used to but then suddenly stopped over night and started distancing himself from everyone including his family. But now suddenly, as soon as you come around, he starts speaking again." Wooyoung says, clearly not happy.

Aithne just nods understanding, but not realising Wooyoung isn't happy. Yeosang gives Wooyoung a look we all know too well. A look telling him to not try anything and to leave her alone. But we all know Wooyoung won't. He'll do something, and it won't be good.

Will she be able to put up with it though? Or will it break her?
