Izuku stood outside UA hesitating slightly, after all, he'd worked so hard to get there, seeing it all come to fruition was rather overwhelming, he wanted to enjoy the feeling. After one final deep breath he strode forward, resolutely ignoring the horrified whispers that followed him. They were after all expected. He had chosen to follow eraserheads advice on not breaking dress code and therefor didn't have anything hiding his scars. It was a shame really as classmates would soon become desensitized to them. He had planned to use the revelation of his scars to his benefit for example they could be used to shock or intimidate peers in any fights/activities they were tasked with.Jason had taught him well, the man had fought tooth and nail to get where he was to day and he was passing his techniques to Deku, both knew the value of throwing an opponent off even for the briefest of moments.

Reaching the classroom door he strode straight in, recognizing the engine scent from one of the students, the boy was talking to someone else who's general aura was strangely familiar but much more intense than he had previously known it. Bakugou. The voice was what had finally made it click. Upon his realization Izuku felt his fists clench and his breath quicken.

"Hey you, I'm sorry I don't know your name but..." called gravity girl, "I just wanted to thank you for saving me, you were so heroic."

He spun around to face the girl rather surprised at her enthusiasm and thankful that she had once again appeared at the perfect time to snap his out of his spiraling thoughts.

"I'm Ochako by the way it's nice to properly meet you, you know without a load of robots running around" she continued.

"Izuku, and it's nice to meet you too," he replied slightly unsurely.

Soon engine boy was introducing himself as well, and the two began to converse. Noticing eraserheads presence he ushered them to the their seats keen to leave a good impression on his now cemented favorite hero. He'd had plenty of reasons like Eraserhead before, but the fact he'd believed in him was enough to shoot him far above any other.

The lesson began and the students were all told to put on their gym uniforms and meet outside for quirk tests. In hindsight he should of expected as much, the world did revolve around quirks after all. He completed each test to a relatively high standard, his extreme physical fitness proving highly valuable, his only distraction being how uncharacteristically quiet bakugo was being. Kacchan had snapped at a few classmates but hadn't made a single comment or threat towards him. It was, strange. At the end of the school day izuku finally found out why when he was cornered after class. He prepared himself longing for a fight, the chance to finally put his bully in his place, but bakugo didn't attack. He apologized. Deku stood there stunned. Almost zoning out, unable to comprehend what he had just heard then Kacchan began to walk of like he'd just sorted everything out. It took of izukus self restraint not to pounce on the retreating figure. Instead he resigned to shout at the bastard.
"If you think for even a second I'll ever forgive you, your more deluded than all might. You should be in prison not a hero school, get in my way again... and you will be." Before storming of in the other direction.

Although his anger had somewhat subsided since their confrontation when (a couple of days later) he was given the opportunity in class to show Bakugou up, he took it gleefully. Said opportunity came when he and Ochako where pitted against bakugo and lida in a challenge to get/protect a bomb. The "villains" were let in first and he was able to use his senses to keep track of were they and the bomb were. He quickly relayed his plan to Ochako and as soon as the buzzer sounded she grabbed his wrist. The effect of her quirk was immediate as he floated up in to the air completely weightless. She released her grip on him and he continued to float upwards parallel to the building until he reached the level on which both lida and the bomb were situated. Grabbing the outer window ledge he carefully pried the widow open sliding silently into the room. He wasn't about to underestimate lida by allowing for an unnecessary fight, if possible he wanted to win without conflict. Still weightless he floated to the ceiling of the room using it to carefully guide his way to the bomb. Once he was above it he simply reached down and touched it.

"HERO TEAM WINS" boomed a voice izuku found most irritating. At this lida spun around shocked to see izuku floating lazily above the bomb.

He'd won in under a minute. That was sure to dent Kacchans ego.

When they got back to the rest of the class everyone was raving about how quickly and efficiently they had won. Someone even mentioned it was no surprise as after all izuku placed top on the entrance exam.

"You never mentioned what your quirk is tho," said the electric boy, "and like, are your eyes part of it? are they like OW!! What was that for?"

"Learn some tact you dumbass" replied earphone girl.

Izuku let out a small chuckle at their antics reassuring them, "it's fine really, I'm actually quirkless, the scars on my face and my blindness were caused by a villain." In all honesty he'd been tempted to throw Kacchan under the bus, but as he'd likely have to spend another 3 years with him, it'd be best to keep the relationship civil.

"What about all of the other scars, there's so many it's kinda hard to miss them when you change." Asked hardening boy, it sounded like he'd wanted to ask for a while. He really should learn their names.

"Being quirkless gets you into a lot of fights," Izuku replied with a shrug, continuing when his classmates reacted doubtfully, "some people like to put down people they see as beneath them, and who's lower than a quirkless person in this society? Even most villains are afforded more respect because they show of their powerful quirks."

Most in the class seemed genuinely upset to hear what he'd been though and he found himself rather touched, after all he'd never had many positive experiences from people his age it was a rather nice change of pace. What with a mostly agreeable class and an amazing teacher like Eraserhead, izuku was being to think he was really going to enjoy his time here.

He got home that to a nice cooked meal from his mother and found Jason already at the table.

He just hoped his newfound good fortune would last. Sadly the league of villains had other ideas.
