Ally groaned, reaching over to grab her ringing phone.

"Hello?" she answered groggily, not even bothering to look at the Caller ID.

"Hi mija, I saw Normani proposed last night," her mother said through the phone.

"Yes she did," Ally said softly, now aware of her friends next to her in the living room. She played with the ring on her finger again.

"Good I'm glad. How are you two? Is everything okay by now?" Pat asked.

"Yes ma, everything is good," Ally sighed quietly, she really just wanted to go back to sleep. Normani turned over on the couch they were sharing and wrapped her arms around Ally, pulling her in tighter. Ally smiled.

"That's good. Have you been talking about a date and a location?" Pat inquired. Ally wanted to know why she was asking all of these questions at this ungodly hour.

"No we haven't. Mom we can talk about this later with Andrea and Mani, please?" Ally slightly whined.

"Okay okay, I'm sorry. But, I'm happy for you and congratulations," Pat said. Ally rolled her eyes.

"Thanks, we'll talk to you soon, bye," Ally said.

"Bye mija, te amo," Pat said.

"Te amo," Ally hung up.

"Who was that?" Normani stirred a little, her eyes still shut close.

"My mom, go back to sleep," Ally mumbled, turning into Normani and nuzzling her head in Normani's neck.

"Okay," Normani said, sighing. The two easily fell back asleep.

"What time is it?" Dinah asked yawning.

"Um twelve thirty," Ally said from the kitchen. She was making chicken quesadillas for lunch.

"We slept for so long," Dinah groaned, getting up from the other couch she and Lauren shared.

"We did stay up for a while," Ally chuckled.

"True, Smash Bro's gets intense," Dinah smiled.

"How've you been?" Ally asked as Dinah walked into the kitchen, grabbing a glass.

"I'm good, really good. Honestly, I truly haven't been this good for a while," Dinah said, making a cup of orange juice.

"I'm glad to hear, how are you and Lauren? Are you guys okay?" Ally inquired.

"We're great, we have another date tomorrow, I plan on taking her out to dinner," Dinah said.

"Oh that sounds great, D. I'm happy for you," Ally smiled, plating a quesadilla.

"And I'm happy for you, look at you engaged and shit," Dinah and Ally laughed.

"Only because I have no choice. But I'm glad it's to Normani, after these last few weeks I truly can't see myself with anyone else," Ally explained, putting another quesadilla in the pan.

"I told you you'd end up together," Dinah said, sitting at the counter.

"Whatever D," Ally chuckled and rolled her eyes.

"Good morning pretty girl," Lauren wrapped her arms around Dinah and kissed her cheek.

"Good morning to you too," Dinah smiled.

"Morning Als, what are you making?" Lauren sat next to Dinah and peered over the counter, trying to see what Ally was making.

"Quesadillas," Ally smiled.
