3RD POV
It's 7 years later now and Izuku is currently 12 years old. After the news of the incident was released to the public Izuku was soon after adopted. The family to the public were nice and kind hearted people however they were actually power hungry. They knew something was special about Izuku to have survived that burning place with only one measly scar so they expected him to have a powerful quirk which protected him. This however did not seem to be the truth, one year after living with them, they brought Izuku to be tested and he was diagnosed quirkless. Why you ask? His quirk held a close meaning to the memories of that day and so to protect himself he buried those powers deep inside him alongside the horrible memories that used to haunt his mind. After finding he was quirkless they were absolutely appalled but they couldn't just give him back to the orphanage after adopting him, how could they it would absolutely destroy their image and so they kept him. They had no use for him but knew they couldn't get rid of him and so they used him as their personal maid. They did not physically abuse him but mentally they caused alot of damage. He had began talking again in the first year after being with them but ever since their attitude changed he did to. He stopped smiling again and rarely talked unless asked a question. He did everything they instructed but he was absolutely miserable. He felt neglected and the mean words they called him hurt him deeply causing him to trust no one but himself and to doubt and slowly loath himself.
1 year later Izuku still lived with them and they were moving houses, to the neighbourhood he was brought up in. Izuku was depressed, he put up a wall against the outside world to protect himself and replaced his sad demeanour with a happy facade to everyone but his family. He also has siblings, they didn't like him very much and mostly just excluded him but they didn't hurt him by calling him mean names they just stayed away. He of course was sad they excluded him but was happy they didn't bully him like their parents. Maybe it was pity? He'd never know because he would surely never ask. Once unpacking all of his things in his new bedroom and cleaning the whole six bedroom house per his parents request he was allowed to go on a walk. He decided to just explore and learn the new area not remembering this was where he once lived. He came across an apartment complex eyeing it for a while as if something were weird. The place looked foreign and unknown to him like it should however he has this wavering feeling that something was missing that he should realise.
IZUKU'S POV
I decided to ignore the feeling that something was missing and just continue on my exploration walk around the area. On my walk I came upon a huge crowd and moved my way to the front of it and upon reaching it I was absolutely shocked. Before me was this giant green sludge thing and it had ahold of something no someone. I saw wide red eyes that looked in pain, those eyes they looked so familiar. Then I saw it ashy blond hair and before I knew it I was running."KKAAACCHAAAAANNN!!" I let out a blood curling scream, I had no clue why I was running it was as if my body moved on its own, I had nothing on me to use as a weapon and began internally screaming at myself to stop. Then I began thinking if I had a quirk I could help him if only I had a quirk. But my body was still running and then suddenly the monster tried to attack me. My eyes widened in fear and people around me were screaming for me to duck but I kept moving forward and before I knew it I was floating in the air. *woah what? whats going on? i have no quirk im quirkless!! aren't I!? THEY SAID I WAS QUIRKLESS so how am I floating??* There were tears streaming down my face from the internal turmoil and it was as if my body took over itself. My arm raised forward in the direction of the villain and green fire suddenly surrounded me as if to protect me. *wait what fire..? fi..re? wait-FIRE OH MY GOD MOM I can't believe I forgot* The horrible memories flooded my mind reminding me of what happened that day. With these new memories I realised how to use my quirk again well at least my telekinesis. The fire I had no idea I had but it just kept surrounding me. My eyes were glowing from my telekinesis keeping me afloat so I lowered my self to the ground and ran forward look straight into Kacchan's desperate eyes. My fire deflected every attack that came my way. "KACCHAN!" I let out another scream this time alerting him of my presence. I used my telekinesis again to pull him towards me releasing him of the villains grip and allowing him to let out a loud gasp for air. I quickly dispersed the fire for a second as to not hurt him and gripped onto him tightly. My fire appeared right after I got hold of him I didn't know how to get rid of it properly. "Deku?" I flinched at the name my old best friend gave me. We had gotten into an argument before I left resulting in him calling me deku.. I looked down at him and smiled sadly. I suddenly remembered the villain as I felt a force his the side of my fire. I wasn't sure how to beat it and began mumbling to myself thinking of what to do "calm down Deku" he said to me worriedly. He instantly calmed me and before I could say something All Might appeared and got rid of the villain. He let out a strong punch bringing along a backlash of wind knocking everything in its path back including my fire. It disappeared and flew me along with Kacchan who was still in my arms straight into a wall. My back collided with the wall taking the impact for both of us and knocking the wind out of me. I groaned in pain as everything settled down. Kacchan got off of me and All Might rushed over to us apologised and asked if we were okay. Kacchan grunted and nodded in response and although my spine felt like it was on fire I also nodded not wanting to cause any trouble for anyone. Kacchan gave me a weird suspicious look after my response not quite believing me.
All the heros who were there came over to applaud bot of us for our quirks but I however also got a scolding as to how reckless and dangerous that was of me. I only bowed in response as my way of apologising causing an excruciating pain to go down my spine causing me to let out a small yelp in pain. This got me confused and worried looks and many asking if I was okay while I nodded in response as to say I was fine and shifted uncomfortably in pain. I felt bad for lying but they shouldn't waste their time on me. I am after all am just a waste of space. Those were one of the many names my new family used to describe me. The pros eventually let me and Kacchan go but we were soon surrounded by reporters and cameras. This made me really anxious and I was beginning to feel like I was being suffocated. I tried to back away only to be met with more reporters. My eyes glowed a bright toxic green and like before fire surrounded my body protecting me from everyone else and causing them to jump back in surprise and fear. I began crying and my breathing spiked, I attempted to steady my breathing but the noise of the cameras around me clicking as photos were being taken just made it worse. Everyone was watching me now at a safe distance with amazement in their eyes from my quirk. Kacchan however was just staring at the green flames with a shocked look plastered on his face. He winced and grabbed his arm suddenly making me aware I had injured him. He was the nearest to me when I had allowed my quirk to shield me and i must have accidentally scorched him with my flames. The guilt took over my once unstable state and the fire disappeared. I rushed over to his side fell on my knees ignoring the continuous aching in my back and apologised quietly so only he could hear. He knelt down and told me it was okay. He got up and pulled me up too. He shouted at everyone to get out of his way and roughly pushed his way through the crowd and dragged me along with him once they only look shocked in response instead of doing what he said, and so here I am now standing in front of the Bakugo residence with Kacchan staring at me not saying a word.
