IZUKU'S POV
After school finished up I went straight to training with Daichi, because my bag was so big I was able to fit in a change of clothes for training. Once I arrived, I walked in and said hello to Daichi. I then changed into my other clothes, there were no private rooms after all it is a warehouse so I just changed in front of him, it didn't really bother me since I trusted him more now after seeing his nicer side. So after getting dressed I did my warm up jog of now half torture since I'm much better at it but that still doesn't mean I enjoy it. I was excited when Daichi said i'll be learning parkour next, *it's an incredibly useful skill to be able to do those type of dangerous jumps without a second thought, it'll be much easier for me to escape bad situations knowing how to do all this stuff. Not being able to take a leap of faith without fear in your mind, could cost you your life and i'd hate to die in that sort of situation.* I thought to myself not realising I was also muttering all of this out loud before Daichi told me to shut it. "SORRY SIR", I may trust him more but he's still scary.
So that's how it went for the next few months, just school, training and hell, that's what I like to call home now. Things have gotten much much worse, father hits me almost every day for merely being there but when I actually do something wrong I have hell to pay for it and I know that now I learnt it the hard way. Those simple punches turn into a long torturous tolerance game, how long till I break? I believe that's what he wants to know. What does it take before my silence turns to screams and my screams to begging and that begging to another increasingly long silence. How long does it take for that raging fire behind my eyes to became a dull hopeless flame. It's a waiting game is all and I just hope it never reaches zero because what's on the other side must be worse than death himself.
I began sneaking out at night to get away from everything, because of the parkour skills I learned from Daichi over the months I can easily jump from roof to roof without effort and so avoid getting into trouble from others. I just hope I don't bump into any hero's patrolling here or i'll be in big trouble for doing this, although i'm not using my quirk so whether it's illegal or not i'm not sure of.
One night after I got a very bad beating due to dropping a glass plate on the ground, I managed to drag myself to my room and lock the door. He didn't touch my legs much so I could walk just fine I was just exhausted so it was hard to. My upper body was a whole other story though, I had bruises from my waist up. On my face I had a black eye and a dark swollen bruise on my cheek. *What will Kacchan say about this...* I'm not looking forward to school tomorrow, I'm not sure if I can smile all day when all I really want to do is lay down and cry but I have to or else others might get suspicious. *Maybe I should wear an eye patch tomorrow so people won't see my black eye, I'll just need to come up with an excuse as to why* I thought to myself while I dragged myself up to my feet. I slowly made my way to my window, opened it up and used my telekinesis to get onto the roof. I then jumped from roof to roof as carefully as I could not wanting to worsen my injuries in the process. I eventually found my way to a really tall building, I couldn't jump up there so I had to use my quirk and just hope I didn't get caught. Once I got up to the top, I walked over to the edge. sat down and let my legs drape over the edge of the building. *So much for not using my quirk* I thought to myself while rolling my eyes at myself. I just looked down at the city below me, It was beautiful, so many lights were littered before me in attempt to keep the streets bright, I loved it. I just sat there for awhile admiring the scene below me and smiling softly until I heard a noise, I whipped my head around and made out the silhouette of what seemed like a grown man. Out of fear I immediately stood up and activated my pyrokinesis causing my eyes to turn a toxic green. I moved my fire between us in order to make out their face and I was shocked to find none other than the underground hero Eraserhead staring right back at me with shocked eyes.
