IZUKU'S POV
I woke up to the dreaded day from my usual 5:30 alarm not feeling very energized for the day. I went to have a quick shower and washed my face twice before blow drying my hair and getting dressed, I sadly didn't have a suit to wear and so I settled for a black button up and a pair of black jeans. I then put on a pair of black loafers I had and grabbed my phone before leaving the house. No one was awake at the time since I left at my usual school time, my brothers and sister normally woke up after I'd already left so no one saw me leave in these clothes instead of my uniform.
After locking the door behind me I walked down to the flower shop around the corned to find out it wasn't open for another two hours and so decided to go over to the warehouse and leave Daichi a note. I took my time walking there so time would pass by so I didn't arrive till half an hour later. I walked in surprised to find Daichi already there he was training. *Oh wow, I never though about when he trained* I thought to myself realizing how dumb I am that it never crossed my mind. He looked over in my direction when he heard the door open and was surprised to find me standing there. I scurried in, greeted him and apologized for interrupting his training. He didn't seem to mind much but asked why I was there. I had originally planned on writing him a note once I got here but since he's already here I decided to just explain it to him instead. I quietly explained how it was the anniversary of my mother's death and so he said it was alright if I didn't train today but I was gonna have to work extra hard tomorrow. I appreciate the fact he never said 'sorry for your loss' because although it's the usual thing to say it's just something I don't want to hear, what should he be sorry for? he never knew her so it doesn't have a reason to be sorry. I know it's not the best way to think but hey I'm a huge pessimist sometimes.
Within ten or so minutes of arriving I found myself walking back to the flower shop. I took my time once again slowing down my usual pace and arrived outside the shop once again. I took a look at my phone to see the time, *okay so just another fifty minutes to go*, I had my headphones around my neck so I connected them to my phone and started listening to some sad music. After another twenty minutes of waiting I noticed someone walking towards my direction. I put my headphones back on my neck and looked up at them. They asked if I was waiting for them to open and I nodded in response, they were then kind enough to let me in even thought they're not opening up for another half hour. "You look like a good kid so just give me a minute to go put away my things, you can choose what you want in the mean time." they said to me kindly while opening up the door and walking in. I followed behind them then went to take a look at the flowers. Just as I had decided on the flowers I wanted they oh so conveniently popped up again from behind the store and asked if I knew what I wanted. I nodded in response and pointed over to the white roses and the lotus flowers, they were really pretty and I know mama would love them. *You going to a funeral?*, they asked me as they bundles up the flowers I wanted and tied them together, they looked back to see me shake my head. They seemed satisfied enough with my response since they nodded their head as if saying they understood and walked over to the till. They picked up some plastic to wrap around my bundle of flowers as I waited patiently. I pulled out my wallet waiting for them to give me a price but I was surprised when they looked up at me, smiled and said it was on the house. Since I didn't want to speak I was unable to insist on paying as shaking my head didn't work. In the end I smiled softly at them then bowed my head as to say thank you, placed my headphones back on, picked up my bouquets and walked towards the door, I gave one last wave before walking out of the store and continuing on my journey.
