"Are we safe here?" A little girl asked me.
Satomi's whole pack was now staring at me, waiting for an answer.
I nodded, "Yeah, you're safe here." I replied.
Scott gave me a look.
"You said that you're tired of watching people die. This is a start."
Scott nodded, "We're gonna need help."

20 minutes later, we're in Argent's place. Chris must've seen one of our footprints because he picked up his gun. An arrow, that Kira shot, flew by and Chris pulled out another gun as Brett went to attack.
"Wait! Brett! This is his place. It's his." Scott yelled.
Brett calmed down and walked back to where Lori was.
"If you were bringing guests, you should've called." Argent told Scott.
"We don't have anywhere else to take them." Scott whispered.
"I know this man. He may not remember but we met before." Satomi said, walking forward.
"You can trust him. I trust him."
Scott nodded in agreement.
"How do we know he's not like the others?" Satomi asked, referring to the group of hunters last night.
"What others?"
Kira explained what happened and gave Chris an arrow that they used.
"They're hunters, aren't they?" Scott asked.
"Not if they're killing for profit. Not anymore."
"Can they find us?" Brett asked.
"They might already know you're here. Maybe they're waiting for dark."
"So, we're not safe here." Kira said softly.
"We're not safe anywhere. We've been trying to get out for days. Everywhere we turn, there's someone new trying to kill us." Satomi said, referring to the assassins that are after all of us.
"If they're coming, Scott, they're coming for you too. You're still number one on the list."
Scott explained what was happening with Meredith at the station and how we needed more time. A few minutes later, we were preparing for the assassins. Derek and Braeden were here with their guns.
"Let's send a message. Let's make tonight perfectly clear to anyone with a copy of that list. It doesn't matter whether they're professional assassins, hunters or even an amateur who picked up a gun. Anyone who thinks they can hunt and kill us for money is going to be put on a list. Our list. They get to be a name on our dead pool." Derek said, before Braeden cocked her gun.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to see Brett.
"Hi." He mumbled.
"Are you here to threaten Liam again?" I asked, referring to the last time we actually talked.
"I'm here to apologize. I was being an ass and I'm sorry for threatening your boyfriend."
I slightly smiled, "Liam's not my boyfriend but I forgive you. I'm sorry that I threatened you too. After all, we need each other to survive right?"
An loud alarm started beeping.
"They're here!" Kira yelled.
Ten men with red lasers attached to their guns came in shooting everywhere.
"Get back!" I pushed Brett behind me, "Get your pack together and hide." I yelled, before a bullet pierced my side.
"Taylor!"
I quickly knocked the guy who shot me out.
"I'm fine!"
Chris, Braeden, and Derek were hidden but shooting at them. Kira had her katana and Scott had his claws. I got shot twice in the leg before I fell. A burning feeling spread through my leg. They were wolfsbane bullets. I looked up to see an assassin with his gun pointed to my forehead. Brett broke his wrist, making him drop the gun, before smashing his head into the wall.
"Get the bullets out of his gun and give them to me."
Brett did what I told him to do. I quickly took the powder out of the bullets and set it on fire with my lighter before pushed it into the wound. When it healed, Brett helped me up. I looked up to see Scott attacking a guy. Lori was right next to them, covering her eyes. Brett and I ran over to her. I watched Scott's face turned darker as he kept scratching him.
"Scott, stop."
He didn't listen.
"You're going to kill him and you won't be an alpha."
Scott raised his hand to rip his throat out.
"Scott!" I yelled.
He stopped and so did the shooting. Scott held the text message up to the assassin that was pinned under him. We did it. The dead pool is gone. It's all over.
