"What do you mean 'no'?" Liam asked angrily.
"Liam, look at her. She's too weak. It'll kill her. We don't even know what the mercury's doing to her. We don't even know if it actually is Mercury. This can't be the only way to save her life." Scott explained.
"It saved mine." Liam mumbled.
"That was different. You were hanging off of a ledge."
"You promised. You said you'd do everything you could!"
"Which is why I'm not gonna do something I think is gonna kill her! There has to be..." Scott trailed off and started breathing funny.
"Scott." Theo passed Scott's inhaler to him.
Scott used his inhaler and his breathing went back to normal.
"There's gotta be another way to save her."
"Guys, I don't know the statistics to surviving a werewolf bite but she's definitely not surviving this. We need to do something." I told the both of them.

"What's that?" I asked Momma McCall as she pulled out a needle.
"It's called chelation therapy. It removes heavy metals from the blood but the problem is that it can injure the kidneys and Hayden only has one to began with."
Momma McCall injected the needle into Hayden's wrist, making Hayden flinch.
Liam grabbed her arm, "You're hurting her."
"And you're hurting me." She said, gaining Scott's attention.
"Sorry." Liam apologized
"Guys, remember we're here to save a life, not kill each other." Theo said, looking around.
"It's the full moon. We can feel it even during the day." Scott mumbled.
"Plus it's the super moon." I added.
"What's that suppose to make you guys like super strong, super aggressive?" Momma McCall asked.
"Both."
My phone buzzed.

"Can they fix it?" I asked as he got into my rental car.
I'm just driving it until my motorcycle gets fixed.
"There's not enough duct tape in the world to fix that thing." Stiles mumbled.
"Maybe you should try something other than duct tape."
"It's got a bad alternator, it needs all new belts, transmissions going, the brake pads are basically metal on metal."
I glanced over at him, "Why'd you let it get so bad?"
"There's been a few distractions if you haven't noticed."
I sighed, "I notice. More than you think I do."
"I didn't mean it like that."
"I know that I've been distant lately but I'm working on it. I still love you the same and I always will."
Stiles leaned over and kissed my cheek, "I love you too, Taylor."
"Am I taking you home?"
"No, Sheriff's station. I gotta talk to my dad."

"So this is your den?" I asked Malia.
"Yeah."
She picked up her old doll but put it down as we heard something approaching. It was an all black wolf, who shifted into a person. Theo.
"How'd you do that?"
"You wanna learn? I can show you." Theo offered.
"You're showing us plenty right now." I said sarcastically.
"I've got nothing to hide."
"And we do?" Malia asked.
"Did you guys tell Scott that you're planning on killing the Desert Wolf? Don't worry. I'm not judging. I want to help you."
I glared at him, "Why?"
"Because I know Scott won't. I'm trying to help all of you and if Scott can't do it then someone else has to take the lead. You know they're moving Hayden to the hospital, right? Hayden's still a chimera and there's two more we haven't found yet and they're still dangerous. They need help. They need you."

After Theo went away, we went to the hospital. I heard a low growl.
"Malia, do you see that?" I asked, staring at the creature.
"Another chimera."
He growled before walking towards us. He had something sharp sticking out of the back of his hand.
"What is this thing: the wolverine?" I said, before dodging his fist.
He went to stab me in the throat by it was shot in the chest and ran off. I looked towards where the bullet came from.
"Braeden?" I asked.
"What the hell was that?" She asked, "I don't know what's going on around here but I'm guessing things are bad again."
I nodded, "Very."
"This is gonna sound worst because your plan? She knows and she's coming. The desert wolf knows that you're alive and she's coming back to Beacon Hills."
