Endgame
By: jassidreams
Synopsis:If Atlas Kingsley's life was a chest match, he'd be the King—just look at his name. With endless riches and unmatchable charm, he had the entire world at his feet. To him, everyone else is a mere pawn, and he's determined to become the best player on the board.
(And it certainly helps that he has a secret that could easily destroy anyone who comes in his way).
But one wrong love can turn billionaires to broke. Just like that, Atlas is screwed, forced to say goodbye to lavish vacations on the weekends and to champagne running through his veins on school days...or so he thinks. He begins to realize just how much power he holds. And with a team of five equals (plus one tagalong), he just might be able to turn things around.
There's something else Atlas needs to realize, though: chess and real life are a lot more alike than he'd like to think. And in these games, someone is always out to get you.

Review:
What a thrill! The main character—Atlas—is a joy to read, especially in his point of view. It's humorous to read the way he thinks, what with his stream of consciousness of whit and expletives. I hope this story continues because the heist sounds very interesting—along with their hidden powers and its origins.
