••• Review: This author is incredibly talented and under-rated. Her writing is so fluid and descriptive—I could imagine the whole story unfold in front of me. The main character (Genesis/Maises) is both aloof and tenacious; it was very gripping to see how her life progressed, especially in her line of work. Read this if you like action-packed stories or great, robust female leads!
