Review:
(FYI: this story is ONGOING).
Where do I start with this engaging and magical story? Firstly, I'd just like to say how fluid and marvelous the dialogues were! It didn't seem out of place or awkward; it perfectly fit in with the elegant prose of the book! I'm so thankful to have found this gem, for I was not only able to read about two magnificent characters in Greek mythology but I was also able to learn about many tales that took place. I could easily tell that the author researched/knew well of the topic, and I think that's a very notable attribute for an author! Additionally, I LOVE the juxtaposition between Demeter (Goddess of Life) and Hades (God of Death)—especially with their relationship with the ever intriguing and powerful Persephone! Hades gives her so much life, and Demeter wreaks death in her fever to take back Persephone. What a beauty—I can't wait for the next chapters!•••
I just had to add it..my favorite quote:~ Hades' impression of Persephone.
