Chapter 11

Earth-38, National City, DEO

It was 6 in the morning in National City, people were waking up so they could go to their job to work and continue their normal lives, but that wasn't the case for Kara and Barry, both of them had been in the medbay, Barry was taking care of her superfriend, after a while he woke up to see her still asleep, he still was holding her hand and he was happy about it, after a few minutes he rests his head on the chair so he could wait for her to wake up.

When she woke up Barry was watching her, she was still a little asleep but she could recognize that beautiful face everywhere.

"Hey girl of steel, how are you?"

"I feel better scarlet speedster, yesterday was wild, if it wasn't for Mon-El and you, I could've been dead"

"Actually... Mon-El saved you... I was knocked out, don't you remember?"

"I forgot... but are you really fine? she didn't hurt you after she knocked you out?" she said sounding a little preoccupied

"Don't worry I'm fine, I should be the preoccupied, not you" he said smiling about her worries for him, after a few seconds of losing their thoughts between each other Alex enters the medbay and behind her was Mon-El. When Mon-El saw Barry and Kara staring each other he was really jealous but he tried to hide those feelings so no one could see his problems, but Alex as a great agent she is she knew Mon-El was mad, she didn't want to enter the new love triangle, but she knew the three of them where gonna talk to her at least one day of the week. After a few seconds, Mon-El faked cough so Barry and Kara could come back to the real world.

"Sorry," They both said at the same time, that made both of them blush, while Mon-El was trying not to kill the speedster.

"Kara your sun healing is almost done, you need to stay a few hours and then you can go home"

"Okay, thanks Alex"

"No problem, Barry can you come with me for a second?"

"Ok..."

After Barry and Alex went to talk Mon-El stayed with Kara. After 10 seconds of awkward silence, Mon-El finally decided to talk.

"So... are you and Barry a couple?

"Wha-what? no... why would you say that?" she said feeling her cheeks on fire

"Well... by the way, you are looking at him, and by the way why he is on this earth?"

"It's a story I can't tell"

"Okay..."

Another 10 seconds passed by and Mon-el talked again

"Can we go somewhere today?"

"I mean yeah we could go but I don't want to left Barry alone, can we bring him to?"

Mon-El stood there for a while not saying anything, but he hesitantly said "O... Okay he can come with us"

"Let's just wait for Barry so we can tell him." Kara knew Mon-El wanted to be the two of them, but she was afraid Reign could get Barry while they were on their date, or that's what she made her thought.

While the conversation between Kara and Mon-El was happening Barry and Alex walked to a meeting room so they could be alone and Kara could not hear them.

"Ok... look Barry it obviously looks that you and Kara are really..."

"I know, I know but Mon-El is here and if he is here I have no chance..."

"Barry I don't want to choose a side between you two, but I need to know who will take care of my sister, and Mon-El sadly comes from the future I don't know if he is going to stay or is going to go"

"But I don't know if I could win to him, he was Kara's ex, and he wouldn't be her ex if it wasn't for the problems that happened months ago"

"Look you have to believe in yourself I know we just met, but I can see something that I always see on Kara"

"And that's..."

"The care you feel about everyone, you will not give up until everyone is saved you know that, I don't want to choose a side I really don't but I want my sister to be happy,"

"I will try, but I will need to return to my earth one day you know that?"

She rolled her eyes, and he looks down to the floor, he cares a lot about Kara and that's why he is saying this, he doesn't want Kara to feel sad every time he is on his earth, he could bearly saw her 1 time every year.

"You, are just giving now excuses..."

"I might, but what will happen when I need to go back to my earth? I might take months to come back, and I don't want to see or feel Kara sad when I'm not here..."

Alex took some steps so she could be inches apart from him.

"Barry Allen... you are just like my sister"

"Why are you-"

"Look we will come up with something so you or her can be together more times. But if you want that you need to talk to her and take her on a date or something"

"Ok... but are you sure abo-"

"NOW"

Barry immediately went to the medbay so he could ask Kara on a date, Alex was walking behind him so if he even tries to walk away she could catch him. When both of them got to the medbay Kara was already standing up without any problem.

"Barry" "Kara," Both of them said at the same time, they slightly blush, while Mon-El was about to explode, and Alex knew that

"Go first"

"Mon-El and I are going to eat at the bar tonight, and I was thinking if you might want to come?"

Barry was silent for a few seconds and that preoccupied both Danvers sisters.

"I really don't want to bother you two..."

"It's fine don't worry Mon-El is fine with that"

Barry looked at Mon-El he was looking to some other way, while Alex was giving him a death glare when he turned around to saw Kara again she was making him some puppy eyes to convince him. Barry just scratched his neck for what seemed forever until he finally talked.

"Fine..."

"Thanks, I really appreciate it" After she said that she hugs him for some time, Mon-just walked away but before he was about to leave he told them to meet him at the bar at 8 pm.

"I need to go to CatCo before it's too late see you later guys!"

When Kara left Barry was about to go to Kara's apartment when Alex stopped him

"I will go to the Bar at 8:10 and if I do not see you with at the bar with both of them I swear to God to destroy you... Do you understand?"

"Ye-yes"

Barry left as fast as he could to Kara's apartment so he wouldn't talk to Alex anymore, he was happy but at the same time preoccupied with what could happen at the bar, and boy he wasn't wrong to feel does emotions...
