Chapter 43

Earth-38, National City, Barry and Kara's Loft (January 2018)

Almost 9 months have passed and Kara and Barry were really excited about being parents, they wanted to meet their children since Kara was pregnant, they were really excited about having a girl and a boy.

They discussed the names but they finally decided for Dawn and Don.

Kara was with Lena at the loft talking about everything and how the future will be

Barry was at the kitchen making food for them. And later on, he will go back to his earth to work, but he was worried about Kara since she was about to give birth in a few days.

He wanted to stay with her but Kara made him go back to work, saying she was okay and she wanted him to work and don't be preoccupied about her

But still, he was since she is her life and he will always worry.

"Ladies, the food is ready, in a few minutes I have to go, but I will be back at night babe," he said kissing her and she nodded and kiss him back

"Okay, see you la-" she couldn't finish her sentence and that preoccupied Barry so he turns around

"Wha-" he said but Kara interrupted him

"My water broke..." Barry started to worry even more but he remembers Lena was there

"Lena, go with her to the car I will bring the things, fast!" she just nodded and took her down, while he sped everywhere and got back to the car when the girls arrived

Barry wanted to speed her to the hospital but he didn't know if that could affect either Kara or the twins so he just drives as fast he could

Finally, they arrived at the hospital what seemed like hours for the three of them was just 10 minutes, Kara couldn't stop screaming thanks to the pain she is having

Barry took her to the emergency room while Lena talks with everyone about her best friend about to give birth.

When they took her to a room Barry was behind them, he helped her relax while her sister arrives,

"Kara, inhale and exhale, and concentrate, think about Don, think about Dawn, playing with us at the park, and how soon you will see them with us and how we are taking care of them, to be good people and help others," she didn't know how but that made her relax, not a lot but it helped

"Soon we will be a family, soon you will be a mother, concentrate..."

"I... Love... you..." she could barely say

"I love you too," he said kissing her as she continued to scream

After having so much pain and Her husband and sister helped her, she finally gave birth to the twins, when the doctors give the twins to the couple they couldn't stop watching them

"She has your eyes," she said with tears in her eyes

"And he has yours," he said cleaning her eyes

"They are beautiful, can Auntie Alex carry one baby?" Alex said

"Of course," She answered giving Dawn

"Her name is Dawn, and the little boy is Don,"

"Hi baby girl, I'm your Auntie Alex, and I'm going to make sure no one will hurt you, because if the so it, no one will know where they have gone, and so do your brother," she said and that made the couple chuckle, the Barry gave Don to Kara

"They are going to be just like you, a hero," He said

"And like you, don't forget that..." she said kissing him

"Oh Rao I love you so much," she said

Earth-1, Central City, Tower (December 2018)

Both heroes left STAR, and they went to the tower where everybody was already there, Barry went with the ground team while Mon-El flew to meet the air team

"So you finally talked to Mon-El," Oliver said

"Yes, just in case,"

"Air team are you online?" Oliver asked

"Yes we are," Ray reported

"Okay, soon the Anti-Monitor or his goons will come, you need to be really careful and report us if you see anything,"

"Copy that," Superman said

Everyone started to get in their positions, soon the battle will start, but nobody anticipated a villain, nobody but Barry

"Uh guys, a red streak is coming right to you," Mon-El said, then Barry was long gone

"Barry!" Oliver yelled

Somewhere

In a blink of an eye, Barry was at what it looks to be an antimatter cannon, all dizzy he looks around, then a punch sends him back to a wall.

"Thawne..." he whispered

"Finally, I found you, Bartholomew Henry Allen, the fastest man alive or also known as The Flash,"

"Why are you here? You don't want to see the faces of everyone when I defeat you?" he asked

"Really funny Barry, really funny, but no, this place is where you are going to die,"

"That's why you bring me here? To tell me that I'm going to die here?"

"As I said yes you're going to die, in the history books, you die by sacrificing yourself, but that will not happen if I kill your past you..." he started to laugh then he knew that wasn't his Eobard Thawne, that was Eobard Thawne but before he killed his mother since he never talked like it was the first time they met

"You want to kill the past me? And why you are here why didn't you just went to kill me?"

"Because it will be no fun if I just kill you without a fight, I want blood, I want difficulty on this, and just remember... you shouldn't have gone to the future, because you create the reverse of yourself, I told you I was going to make your life impossible, what's better than take your life? And this is going to be the last place you're going be before you go to the past with me because I know you are going after" he said as he runs to a weird treadmill but before that, he punches Barry various times

"Say goodbye to your life... Flash no sorry, Barry Allen..." Thawne said as he disappeared Barry just sighed and stands up

"Well... let my story as the Flash begin..." he said trying to catch Eobard, but his thoughts started to worry about his family. Not just Kara and the twins, but her mother and father, and how this is going to affect the crisis that is happening at the exact same moment
