Chapter 38

Earth-1, Central City, Barry and Kara's Loft (Few Months Later)

It was another day for the soon to be a couple, today is the day Barry Allen and Kara Danvers are getting married, both of them are really excited, after a few problems like where the wedding is going to be or how many people are going to the wedding.

But here they are, the day of their wedding, they decided they should do it on Barry's earth since many people live on that earth.

It is 9:30 in the morning, and Barry woke up, he looks to see his gorgeous woman still asleep, so he decided to make her breakfast to start the day. Instead of speeding everywhere and wake up her, he just stands up and makes the breakfast at a normal speed.

After 15 minutes of cooking, he had finished breakfast for his fiancée, he started to take all the food to their room. Which by now Kara started to wake up, as she started to open her eyes, she saw Barry with a mini table on his hands, and the smell of delicious eggs and bacon from the mini table, when she finally saw everything the only thing she did was smile,

"This is for you Ms. Danvers," he said smiling and putting it beside the bed

"Later today I will be Ms. Danvers-Allen," she said starting to eat

"And I will be the happiest man alive," he said trying to get something from Kara's food but she slaps his hand

"No! I love you and I'm also really happy about today, but no one even my soon to be husband touches my food!" she said, he started to look really confused but he just chuckles

"You know, even when you are mad just because I wanted of your food doesn't make me regret about marrying you," Kara started to look at him a little mad but she couldn't hide her smile

"Rao damn you, Barry Allen, you are so cute I can't say no to give you food, but just this time," Barry started to laugh

"I love you too babe" and so the couple started to eat and they had a great start for the day

After a few minutes, the couple had to go to get change even though neither of them wanted to go, they just wanted to get married and stayed on the bed all night just the two of them, watching movies like they always do when neither of them has to fight crime.

"Let's go, Kara and after the wedding and the party we can watch a movie,"

"I'm actually thinking about something else," she said putting her arms across his neck

"Well then we can do what you want, but first let's get married,"

"But I wanted to talk to you about something, do you think we are ready?"

"Ready for what? For getting married? Ar-are you having second thoughts? Because if you are it's fine-" he started to say

"No! of course not I'm 100% ready for being Kara Danvers-Allen, what I'm trying to say is... do, do you want to try and have a baby with me?" she said, and what she said made his mouth drop

"I know we haven't talked about it a lot, just like 3 times I think, but I really think I'm ready, and I want to have a family with you Barr, I want a little kid or two running around the house and us playing with them," she stops when he didn't change his facial expression

"I-I'm sorry I shouldn't have said this before our wedding, I think I will go now," looking to the floor she was going to fly to where she was going to meet the girls, but a kiss stop her

"I will love to have babies with you, and I will be really happy if we try, " he said smiling to her soon to be wife, and that made her scream of happiness

"Okay, but are you sure of leaving National City helpless? Because I won't let you be a hero, if you want I can be the hero for the next 9 months if we have the baby," he said

"No! You have enough problems on this earth, I have been thinking and maybe J'onn will be Supergirl for a while, but I have to talk to him," with that comment he started to laugh

"I can't imagine J'onn being you in National City,"

"Oh he has been me sometimes," she laughs

"Well let's get ready and after the wedding, we can talk about J'onn being you fighting crime,"

"I love you, see you soon, Mr. Allen,"

"See you soon Ms. Danvers-Allen," and so they left both of them with smiles because tonight they might get the chance to have a baby... or two.

Earth-38, December 2018, Kara and Barry's Loft (Minutes Before Crisis)

Kara started to walk everywhere, the twins where sleep already and all she could think about was that the "supposed death" of her husband was the next day preoccupied her, Barry was on his earth talking with Oliver and Mon-El about things, so she decided to talk to Lena and Alex about the upcoming events.

She was waiting for them playing with her ring, walking to many places trying to not wake up the twins, or searching for some food on the fridge but neither of those things worked,

Finally, there was a knock on the door, she walks/runs to answer it, and when she saw that both arrived she open it and bring them in really fast.

"What's up Kara are you okay?" Lena asked

"We received your message and we came asap" Alex continued, and then Kara started to cry and then she brought them to a hug

"Hey, hey don't worry, we are here for you," Lena said

"Why don't you sit down and talk to us," and so she did

After a few minutes of talking about Barry vanishing on this crisis, she couldn't finish a sentence without a tear falling,

"And that's why I'm really sad and preoccupied, I don't want Barry to go, I will don't want to tell me, kids why his father is gone in the future, it's going to hurt me, and without Barry, I'm going to be a terrible mom,"

"Kara, we know it's tough, I mean it's supposed that he vanishes, but you're not going to be a terrible mom, you are one of the greatest moms I know and Barry knows that," Lena started

"But I know you, you and he have done everything to stop him from vanishing, and I'm sure something is going to change, I know you are going to have him you just need to have faith, and hope, hope that Barry will not vanish and if that happens..." Alex continued

"We are going to be here, we are going to help you, everyone is going to be with you we know that," Lena finished

"I love you girls, and I'm glad you are with me..." They started to hug Kara facing the windows, and she closed her eyes, breathing and trying to calm down. When she opened her eyes, she saw from the window the skies going from blue dark to read, the three women saw each other, neither of them talks for a while, everyone scared, but finally, Kara said

"It's beginning..."
