Chapter 50

Earth-Prime, Central City, STAR Labs

Team Flash is looking everywhere to find their friend, their family, as they are looking for him Sara and Joe arrive at the cortex, Joe preoccupied since he hasn't seen Barry on the precinct and he doesn't respond his calls, while Sara is preoccupied for her friend Kara, she thought she might be there on the cortex,

"Hey, guys, do you know where is Barry? He doesn't answer my calls, my texts and I haven't seen him on the precinct," Joe said, making all the heroes that fought on crisis sad

"What happened? Is Barry okay?" he said looking to their sad faces

"Joe..." Sara was going to start

"Where is my son?" he said

"He's gone..." Someone said behind them on her knees

"No..." he said, while Sara ran to see Kara

"No, it can't be true! He is just in another place fighting crime I know!" he said, his legs barley carrying him

"Joe... I saw how he vanished. I was in the first... in the first row... he's..." she didn't want to finish the sentence so Sara once again finished the sentence, all she could think was how Barry vanished and she wasn't strong and fast enough to save him.

"He's gone, Joe..." Everyone there started to let tears roll

"No..." Joe said falling to the floor

"Guys!" Team Arrow yelled entering the cortex

When they entered they saw everyone looking to the floor, or hugging each other, they knew Barry got the same fate Oliver got

"No... Barry too?" Felicity said, all Kara did was nod, that makes Felicity sadder, Diggle and Thea hugged her

"It looks like we won, but The Anti-Monitor won... he took the ones we love..." Kara whispered

Somewhere...

"Mom!" a young Barry ran to his house

"Dad? What's happening?" He said looking to his dad, who had two police officers behind him

"What's happening to my son? Barry! Do not enter the house!" he said while the police officers took him to their car, the young Barry entered the house, where police officers, CSI's and Detectives were looking everywhere.

"Dad, where are they taking you? Dad? Dad!" he said while the car moved

As he walks near where most of the people are, police officers look at him, but their eyes are red and they are starting to vibrate, they look like a blur, finally, he arrives at the where the body of her mom is lying down. But it had a blue blanket covering her

"Mom?" he said as he removes the blanket to see her face

"She's gone Barry..." a voice said behind him when he turns around everyone and everything is gone. It was just him with just a light showing the body of her mother

"What's going on?" he said

"What's going on is that you're not fast enough, not when you're young, not when you're an adult, you are always destined to fail..." someone said in the shadows, it just showed red blur eyes

"Who are you?" he said looking at him

"I'm the one who killed your mother, I'm the one who doesn't let you be happy, I'm you reverse..." Reverse Flash said walking to the light with a knife with blood, the knife he used to kill Barry's mother

"You kill my mother!" he said

"Yes... and know it's your turn!" he said stabbing into his heart

"No!" Adult Barry yelled, sweating and looking to Kara and now his mother

"I thought you were dead!" he said looking to his mother

"What did you see?"

"I saw you... You're my mother!"

"Yes, and no Barry, when you recover your memory everything will make sense..." She said

"But I also saw a man... he called himself Reverse Flash..." he said

"You will understand later on who is he, calm down it's everything over, relax," they said and he nodded

"Hey Kara..." he said and Kara look at him

"I miss you..." she just smiled

"She misses you too, a lot," she said and both of them left letting Barry think of everything he saw

Earth-Prime, National City, CatCo (A Few Days Later)

Team Flash and Arrow, accept the fates of Barry and Oliver, it was really difficult to accept their fates. But Kara hasn't accepted it one hundred percent, she feels he is taking some time off, or he will be back, but it looks like it will not happen, Kara decided to write the article of both heroes, Green Arrow and The Flash, it was difficult to write them but she wanted to write about them, since they are her friends, her family, and Barry is her husband, he is going to be forever.

She is on her desk, looking at her computer, she doesn't know what to write about, she just sees the photo of Barry as the Flash,

She just doesn't have the words to describe it... well she has but her body and mind don't want to, because when she publishes this article she is going to accept that... they're gone.

"Hey," Mon-El said knocking on the door

"Hey..." she said with a fake smile

"Can we enter?" He said and that made her curious

"We?"

"Yes," he opens the door, and Sara, team Flash, and Supergirl are there

"We just wanted to be with you when you write this article, we know it's really difficult writing about it, so we thought it would be better if you have a family by your side would be better," Alex said making Kara cry

"Yes, please, I really need it... It just feels when I publish this I will accept he is gone... and forever..." she said crying

"Kara, look we know it's difficult, but Barry and Oliver didn't sacrifice himself for you to be sad, we know it's really complicated not to think about them, but the best for them and for your family, is continue with your life, they wouldn't want you to live in the past, they want you to keep moving and looking forward to the future. Now write whatever comes with your heart, don't do it for us, or for the people, do it for them..." Sara said looking at her, and she gave her a tissue to remove the tears

"Thank you," she said

"You thought we were coming without your favorite people?" Alex said showing Don and Dawn

"I obviously brought them to make you happy," she said

"Thank you," she said grabbing her children

"Hi buddies, did you miss me?" She said

"Mama," Don said pointing Kara

"Papa," Dawn said, pointing to the picture of Barry and her, Kara started to cry once again. Cry of happiness and sadness, she heard the first words of her kids. But Barry didn't he will never hear them

"Yes, Dawn that is papa, and I'm mama as Don said," she said making the hearts of the heroes melt

"I think I'm ready... I'm ready to write about the article..." she said with of her kids on her arms, and everyone just smiled

"We will be here with you until you finish it," Alex said grabbing the kids and hugging her sister

"Thank you..."
