"Camila's Point Of View"

I woke up at the sound of the early alarm. God!! I hate rising early!!

I opened my eyes slowly letimg my eyes adjusting to the sun light. I saw Lauren is stresing with her bussiness attire.

I rubbed my eyes and slowly sat up on the bad smiling softly at her. I'm sure really a lucky women.

" Laur, where are you going this early?", i asked lauren.

" Sorry, camz. There came an emergency at the company. I really have to go. ", lauren replied without looking at my direction, buttoning her shirt.

I always button her shirt. It's my thing to do. I bit my lip resisting from saying anything. Lately, lauren has been busy working more.

Well, because Ally's grandfather is sick. So, she has taken some days off of work to take care of her grandfather.

Ally has recommended a new secretary for Lauren. Her name is Lucy, if i remember it correctly.

Lauren has to keep up with everything. There is an important project is pending. She is so stressed about it. She has been coming home lately. We couldn't spend more time recently. I really miss her. But, i couldn't say Lauren that. I should be by her side, understand and respect her work.

I slowly watched lauren go. She pecked on my lips and said good bye.

I sighed. I went to do my usual choars. I've done showering, breakfast. I've even watched three episodes of Sponge boob. I know it's childish. Don't judge me ok??

Then, i got bored ( Me in this quarantine). I have nothing to do. I called Dinah to talk. But, she is too busy with Normani. Talk about the disadvantage setting Norminah up.

So, i decided to go to my parents house. I'll have the good time there with sofi. Yes!! Great idea.

My mom opened the door. I smiled when i saw her and greeted her

" Hey, mama. How are you? ", i said giving her a hug.

" Hello, mija." mama said hugging me back. Come sit.

"Where is sofi??", i asked.

" Oh! She is in the shower. Will be back in any minute. Till then, come sit. Let's talk about what i've been missing, with my daughter.

Mama and i talked about a lots of stuff. She is doing great in her shop. I'm glad that she is slowly becoming independent. My father long forgotten. I don't know how he has been. I haven't heard anything from him.

As soon as sofi heard my voice she jumped on me.

" Kaki!!! I've missed you ", sofi said hugging me tightly.

" I've missed you guys too. But, not more. ", i said practically tickling sofi on the ground.

I catch up everything i missed. I've cooked lunch for everyone and eat it there.

It's getting quite late. It's almost 9pm. I called Lauren. But, she isn't picking up my call.

I thought maybe I'll pay a visit to Lauren. Maybe I'll pick her from office and eat Ice-cream. We can go home together. Therefore, we can spend much time together.

I left my parents house, driving towards Lauren's office. Finally, i could see my baby after a long day. I can't wait to tell her about Mom and sofi.

I'm sure almost all stuff left by now. Just Lauren been doing extra work. I took the elevator and pressed the button to her floor. I opened the door of Lauren's office slowly, in case i disturb her.

Then, i saw that. I couldn't believe my eyes. Lauren was half sitting on her chair, her back facing me. There is a tie on her right hand. Her new secretary was half naked lying on the couch.

All this days, Lauren coming home late, spending less time with me. Is she? Is she been cheating me?? No no. This can't be happening. But, I'm seeing all of this my eys.

I felt like a truck just crashed me. My heart stopped beating for a moment, my cheeks were wet and warm. My whole life seems a big lie at this point. I stood there dumbfounded. Then, i left the place crying so hard for the first time.
