Young Princess Skylar ran joyfully into her father Crown Prince Sky's open arms and the three royals savoured the moment when their family was reunited and complete at long last while the delighted loyal librarian, now an honorary uncle to the little princess watched on as the family shared a tearful embrace and silently marked the memory as one of the most heartfelt, significant memories in Crown Prince Sky Erakylon and Princess  Bloom and Princess Skylar Domino's lifetimes, already looking forward to when the princesses would officially be recognized as Eraklyon royalty as well.

The Royal Palace, Domino

Bloom's POV 

We were walking along the corridors of the palace after we said our goodbyes to Daphne, Skylar being more reluctant to leave her aunt whom she had just met but was already so attached to but immediately relented once I promised her they would see each other again really soon. After Sky told her we were going to the Eraklyon palace, she got really excited but still made sure to say bye-bye to Sir Barnalbee and asked him if she could visit again soon, to which he replied that she would always be welcome. Sky, of course, found Skylar's warm friendly personality so adorable he nearly swooned. Especially when she said, "Bwy-bwy Uncle Barnalbwee."

As of now, he refused to put our daughter down, so Skylar was travelling via her daddy's arms and chatting away amiably about anything and everything and Sky was watching her with a look of absolute adoration to the point of plain awe, giving her his full attention, hanging on to every word our 2-year-old said. It was remarkable, really, not just how he managed not to faceplant even so but also the obvious love and attachment he already had with Skylar. I mentally slapped myself again for keeping her a secret from him for two undeserving years. 

'And then Miss Angie let us draw whatever we wanted which was really fun! I love using my colour pencils and crayons but Emmy likes play-dough clay better. That's fun too! Kimberly likes playing in the sandpit. Her daddy is a swimming teacher. But my daddy is a prince and a hero, so you're way cooler! Kimmy gets to go to the beach all the time. I wanna go some time too,' she pouts. 'I've never seen a beach not on TV and pictures before.'

Sky squeezed her tightly and gave her a kiss on the cheek, 'I'll bring you and Mummy to the beach on Eraklyon soon, would you like that?'

Skylar's big blue eyes widened almost comically, 'Really?'

Sky played along and his eyes, the same shade as Skylars widened too. 'Really!'

'Can Auntie Daphne and Danny come too? Oh, and Uncle Thor!'

'Of cour-' I let out a laugh of disbelief and amusement. 'Uncle Thor?'

'Yeah! Uncle Thor! Auntie Daphne's hubby - don't tell me you forgot, Mummy!' Skylar scolded me cutely.

I tried to hide my amusement, 'Silly me, how could I forget.' While Sky quickly disguised his chuckles with a cough but the twinkle in his eyes betrayed just how funny he found the situation. Poor Thoren.

'Yes, angel - Uncle Thor can come too,' Sky agreed.

'Pinky promise?' Skylar gave him her best puppy eyes and pouted.

Sky let out an inaudible groan at her cuteness overload and I knew his heart melted more than just a little - twas' the power of Skylar's - nobody could ever resist her especially when she played her puppy dog eyes+infamous pout card.

'Pinky promise,' he grinned.

'YAY - I dunno how to swim though. Daddy, do you know how to swim? Can you teach me?' 'Anything for you, my little princess.' 'Yay! Mummy, Mummy, Daddy's gonna teach me how to swim-wait, anything?'
