Chapter One: The New "Pet"

The hemospectrum...such an unusual thing, really... and yet, it allows trolls to be hatched with such unusual abilities.
At this very moment, the youngest yellow blood prince, was using his to simultaneously levitate, charge, and play a game on his portable communication tablet as he lounged on his sleeping cushion. He didn't have to. There was a perfectly good charge port within reach, and he was more than capable of playing the game "hands-on". There was something oddly satisfiying about using sheer psyionics to win. After another pleasing victory the device chimed, and he frowned.
'What could Mituna want NOW...?'
Snapping up the communicator out of the air where he was levitating it, Sollux sat up and was greated by the smug face of his older broodmate.
"Mituna, what do you want?"
"Is that any way to address your brother AND the future Emperor?"
Sollux shrugged "We don't know that for sure, dad hasn't made an official decision--"
"That's where you're wrong. But I have a peace offering."
"Interesting. Go on."
"I don't need to. It'll arrive shortly. Have fun!"
With that, the elder of the two disconnected, leaving the latter bewildered and mildly annoyed. In the next couple of moments, a large delivery drone escorted a bipedal creature on a leash to Sollux's resting chambers. As the drone lead it in, he blushed golden, his duotone eyes widening. This wasn't an exotic barkbeast or meowbeast. This was a human. A rare species that some trolls (himself included) dreamt of having in a harem. As he himself had just come of age, he didn't have a harem yet, at least not until now.

After signing the tedious postal paperwork for the human, he turned to observe it. It was tall, had dark hair, pale skin, and really nice muscles. He would guess that before the slavers caught him, he might have done something that involves heavy lifting, and he was pretty certain this human was male, from the lack of mammaries. But what caught the prince's attention was the humans beautiful blue eyes.

Finally done running diagnostics on the human, the drone exited, leaving the two alone.
