Setting: Irene's Room 

Irene's POV:

Irene's Mother:  Do you not think?!

Irene's Mother:  Your father should have given you the Madam's Key. I have not gone threw what I have just so you can come out with nothing! Your brother is doing exactly what he needs to do...WHY don't you do the same, do you know how EMBARRASSING IT WAS TO LEAVE!?

What?

Mino isn't doing what my mother asked of him, it's all just been pure luck.

After our little family "hug", we came back home when grandfather used his position to end the meeting and ordered father to leave Y/n alone.

He has no power anymore but he can call off family meetings and he can provide protection to whoever he wants from the leader. Aka, my Father.

My mother pushed herself in my room and we've been arguing ever since.

Irene:  Wh-...Mino hasn't done anything, Father gave Mino that title but your acting like he meant it. Didn't you hear him! He said and I quote "Y/n, I will keep you hidden for now". He is using Mino to cover her up again! HE'S PROTECTING HER!

Irene's Mother:  NO..no he's not, he's making her think that he is. He really wants to get rid of her without her being suspicious of him.

What, seriously, does she hear herself

Irene:  Oh my god mother, are you really that oblivious? If he wanted to, he would've done it already. He's had so many opportunities. He wants her mom, HE WANTS HER.

Irene:  Are you going to stand there and tell me that I am wrong, am I wrong!?

- I say lifting my hands in the air, waiting for a response.

Irene's Mother:  NO IRENE, no, he just needs to wait for the perfect time. But in the mean time, you can't just sit there and do nothing.

- She says holding on to the side of my arms harshly.

Irene's Mother:  Do you want anything Irene? Do you not want to be respected in this family? Do you want your father to treat you like your nothing but something he accidentally made?

Irene:  no

Irene's Mother:  Then...Do things, make yourself known, make a name for yourself in this family. Don't just settle for your given name.

Irene:  What do I do then? He already gave Y/n the Madam's Key and I am not going to talk to her, she's going to make me look stupid. I look desperate for her approval, your plan of kissing her ass hasn't and won't work.

Irene:  I can't go to Father, he will get mad at me for questioning his decision. Now I know why he said it was a replacement.

Irene's Mother:  Irene, we have to get rid of her. Whatever it takes Irene, we have to do it. You have to do it. Don't worry, I'll come up with something, in the meantime, stay on your Father's good side, I will talk to your brother too.
