"It's funny you know."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah..." A moment of silence, then tears. Tears ran down Marius' face like there was no tomorrow. Elias looked at Monica, and Monica looked right back at him. They exchanged shower facial expressions.

"It's funny how I just fucking let him come crawling back to me!" He was screaming in German, a language only four of the operators knew. Thats all they really needed to know to begin with. No one else needed to walk in on Marius speaking of one of the other operators. He could easily lie and say that it was about a family member, how they passed or how they treated him in the past. Its reflected onto him and made him such a horrible person. It was easier to lie when people didn't know the context.

"Marius!" He imitated, "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to say Emmanuelle when we were having sex! I didn't know this was high school again! Where we had to keep secrets and sneak around to not get caught! What is this? What are we? 16? 17? This is bullshit! All of it is fucking stupid bullshit that I'm stirred up in!"

"You need to forget him then," she said.

"For the better." Elias finished.

"You've broken the rules already, a lot of us have. But we can't keep things up if they make them that way. You'll jeopardize our missions because he will be all your thinking about. Especially when you guys have missions together. You cant let those feelings come between you and the mission. Harry will know, and it will be the end of everything."

Elias just looked at Monica and raised his eyebrows, "I thought I gave good advice."

"I don't think nows the time to make silly comments, Elias."

"I get it, okay, I do. But what are you even going to do now Marius, hm? What did you say happened after he came to your room and apologized?"

Marius was now at the windowsill, the window cracked open as he leaned on the wooden sill. The white paint was chipping away, and the window creaked whenever Marius shifted his weight at times. There was a silence, and again, Elias and Monica exchanged sour looks where they couldn't understand why their companion was so quiet. Was he thinking? Maybe he was replaying what happened in his head. The crisp air began filling the room and giving the three Germans chills. Monica shivered, while Marius just stayed still. His head, it hung down as he slammed the window shut, the glass cracking slightly from the harsh contact it made with the wood again.

"I slammed the door on his fucking face. I didn't want to look at him anymore. How could I? How could I look at someone who keeps fucking playing me. Running me in circles. If he wants me, or wants to be with me, he needs to make his goddamn mind up. But I can see clearly. So very clear. He doesn't want what I want, and thats.. fucking fine! But he better not fucking expect me to come crawling back to him. He can't expect for us to ever bond like that again. I don't care how much I like him. This isn't high school." Marius looked over his shoulder then turned to face the two.

"We're not kids anymore. I'm not a fucking child that will be dealing with drama. We're adults, and we have a job to do. Six placed rules before we joined, and now that shes gone, Harry enforces them. It's simple." His eyes trailed to the window where he saw Dominic and Emanuelle walking outside, behind them Ryad and Jordan. ryad and Jordan sat on the bench facing away from the building, and Dominic and Emmanuelle sat down on the bench facing the building. Bandit had a dull look on his face, his arm around Emanuelle confidently. However he looked up, right up at Marius, and he scoffed. Marius turned and walked to the door.

"Let's go to a bar. Why are we wasting our time here? Is there even anything here for us? It's better if we go, have some fun."

"Who's babysitting then, Marius?" Elias laughed, which caused a domino effect onto Marius. He smiled too.
