Icepaw woke up being nugded in the side by Bearclaw. " Wake up we have to go to the dawn patrol today" Icepaw looks around "But its barely light out" She sleepily mews. "That's why its called dawn patrol" Bearclaw stiffles a laugh. Icepaw gets up and walks out of the apprentices den and heads towards the bramble entrance. Bearclaw runs infront of her and beats her to the bush she was about to spray. "Hey Bearclaw I was about to spray that bush thank you very much" Bearclaw not getting the sarcasim in her voice says" Your welcome" She sighs " I thought you were my mentor and you should've let me do that on my own"She complains, before he got to retort a comment a yowlsounded close to camp, Icepaw rushes over to see a dark grey tabby trying to sneak into Froststars den. Slowly the deputy Jayheart starts to sneak around the gray tabby and hop onto his back and rake is claws down his back. They gray tabby screeched and ran away. Icepaw walks up to the deputy and asks "Jayheart who was that?" He turns around like he was being sneakexc up on and somebody stepped on a twig, his left ear was torn. " That was Dawnclaw from Earthclan" Iceclaw was astonished what would a Earthclan cat being doing here she thought but then before she could ask the question Froststar came out onto the high stone and yelled out to the clan " Let all the cats that are old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the high rock for an announcement I have decided who will be going to the gathering, Jayheart,Bearclaw,Snowflight,honeydew,Hawkflight,Snowpaw,and Icepaw." When Icepaw beard her name she was elated,she couldn't wait to go to her first gathering although what would Earthclan say about Dawnclaw? She wondered.
