BEARCLAW'S POV
Bearclaw backs up an d Snowpaw looks at him like a squirrel that just found their stash of nuts after all winter long. "Excuse me Snowpaw" Bearclaw states not trying to look into Snowpaw's eyes.Snowpaw looks a little hurt when he walks by. He walks down to Icepaw and she's asleep so he prods her in the stomach. " Wake up, I know what your assessment will be tomorrow" Icepaw looks up and just stares at him. "Well....." She states flatly avoiding eye contact. " It's a hunting assessment" Bearclaw hisses back not wanting her to hear the sadness in his voice and walks away to his nest in the warriors den, and falls asleep. Bearclaw wakes up in Starclan facing a gray tom. "Hello Bearclaw" He mews in a raspy voice. "H-How do you know my name and who are you?" The tom looks like he is trying to hold a laugh in. "Bearclaw remember this is Starclan we know all, my name is Graystripe" Bearclaw looks up in surprise "You mean from the ancient clan Thunderclan? "yes Bearclaw, I have brought you a message, Never give up on Icepaw she will need you in the next moons of her life but i also head a warning DO NOT GET CAUGHT UP ON SNOW AND BEWARE OF LEAF" Graystripe starts fade. "Remember" he gently mews " this is only for you to know" Bearclaw wakes up with a ray of sunshine shining into the den, then remembers today is Icepaw assessment. He quickly races out of the den. To see Icepaw sitting next to falconwing!
ICEPAW'S POV
Falconwing is nice and caring but he still doesn't make my stomach feel the way Bearclaw does. Icepaw thougth to her self as she was heading out of the bramble tunnel to her assessment. Almost immediatly Icepaw smells a squirrel, she lowers herself into a hunters crouch and punch landing on the squirrel and with ine swift bite to the neck she killed it. After her assessment Icepaw ended up catching 2 rabbits, 3 squirrels, 1 vole and a black bird. Later Icepaw and Snowpaw were called up to Highrock to get their warrior names.
Frostar starts by saying I, Froststar, leader of Darkclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as a warrior in (his/her) turn. Icepaw and Snowpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?
Icepaw and Snowpaw look at each other before saying" I do." at the same time
Froststar nods and then continues "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Snowpaw from this moment you will be known as Snowflight. StarClan honors your braveness and we welcome you as a full warrior of Darkclan."After Snowflight Froststar moves onto Icepaw "By the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Icepaw from this moment you will be known as Icepool. StarClan honors your curiosity and we welcome you as a full warrior of Darkclan."
Everyone starts to cheer their new names " Icepool, Snowflight, Icepool,Snowflight"
