ICEPOOLS POV
After sitting vigil all night Icepool was extremely tired, and it didn't help that Froststar put her on a hunting patrol with Bearclaw,Jayheart and Snowflight. Icepool and Bearclaw split off from the group and went on their way. Icepool smelt a squirrel, she went into a hunters crouch,she leap only to find a bigger body under that definitely was not squirrel. Icepool looks down to see Bearclaw under her with her claws unsheathe scraping his back, Icepool quickly sheathes her claws and sat down. " What the fox-dung was that for" Bearclaw snarls. Icepool was surprised, "First you were the one stalking my prey and now none of us even have it" Icepool growls back. "Bearclaw looks hurt " W-Well I-I am sorry" Icepool was also surprised by how well he just went to her side on the argument that he started, Icepool then realized that he was staring at her, Icepool looked down at her paws self-consciously. "B-Bearclaw we need to get back to hunting" Bearclaw looked relunctent to got but nodded, they ended up catching 3 mice, and 2 squirrels.The hunting patrol returned and Bearclaw dropped their prey in the pile and turned back out to go on the border patrol but as soon as they got out they heard voices, Leafpaw and Hawkflight! "How can I stay here and not even let my to daughters know that they are mine" Icepool walks back fur bristling. Bearclaw looks at her sadly but then says "I know this is bad timing but will you be my mate?"
