Warriors: Icepool's prophecy

THE QUESTION

ICEPAW'S POV

Icepaw woke up with a full amount of sleep for once. Icepaw walked out of the apprentice's den and saw that her mentor Bearclaw was eating fresh kill all alone. When ever she looked at him she felt this feeling in her stomach, "wait" Icepaw thought to herself "he's my mentor you cant like him!" Icepaw slowly walked over to him with her own fresh kill in her mouth and put it down and asked " Hey Bearclaw can I sit here?" Bearclaw only responded with a slight twitch in the tail. Icepaw selttled herself next to him and slowly ate her squirrel. After they ate in silence Icepaw was called out to a training session with Bearclaw. "Lower your head and then tuck in your paws and try to not look where your going to pounce" Bearclaw instructs. Icepaw does what she is told and lunged at Bearclaw's back and landed squarely on his shoulder with a yowl of triumph she was knocked off Bearclaw's back and pinned under him. " Never think your opponent gave up" He growls letting her up, who put fox-dung in his fresh kill she thought to herself. " Your warrior assessment is tomorrow" Bearclaw flatly states. Hearing those words Icepaw perked up thinking she would be a warrior tomorrow if she passed her assessment! They walk back to the camp Bearclaw looking down at his paws the whole time. When they enter the camp Icepaw rushes over to her sister and says " WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A WARRIOR ASSESSMENT" But Snowpaw didn't hear a word Icepaw said she was to busy staring off in space. Icepaw followed her gaze and saw her looking at none other than Bearclaw himself.

BEARCLAW'S POV

I see Snowpaw looking over at me but I am to busy worrying about what will happen when Icepaw becomes a warrior and what will happen if i ask her to be my mate. But Snowpaw i can tell likes me but i don't have the same feelings for her. I walk up to Froststars den to see her talking to Leafpaw, looking concern."excuse me"Bearclaw says as he walks into the den. Both she-cats look at him. Froststar sighs and says" Leafpaw if this is OK with you we will continue this later" Bearclaw watched as Leafpaw walked by, he could stop himself thinking how she looks so much like Icepaw and Snowpaw. He shook his head and asked Froststar a much needed question " What kind of assessment will Icepaw have tomorrow?" Froststar thinks a little bit and then says "Hunting" Bearclaw is relived that was her best spot " Thank you i will be on my way now" Bearclaw starts to head out before being stopped by Froststar " I see the way you look at her, once she becomes a warrior are you going to ask her to be your mate?" Bearclaw was surprised by the question " I-I don't know" " Froststar muffled a laugh but then said " Fine you are dismissed" Bearclaw walks out only to be nose to nose with Snowpaw.
