"I-" Icepool started before she was interrupted by hearing the clan leader yowling" All cats old enough come to high rock for a clan meeting" Icepool and Bearclaw run back from where they were hiding and took their places under the high rock."As you know it's about time for some new apprentices." Froststar began before calling Fogkit,Sagekit, and Minkit up to the highrock. The three kits where the kits of Elmheart and Falconwing when they announced they were mates and having kits the clan was surprised. No one would think the two who would squabble over everything including what fresh kill they got would become mates. In the back she heard "I told you Waterstripe,you owe me a piece of fresh kill". Icepool couldn't quite tell who's voice that belonged to but she turned back to the highrock and started listening and stopped her flashback and focussed on the highrock.
Fogkit,Sagekit, Mintkit you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Fogpaw Sagepaw and MintPaw Your mentor Fogpaw will be Icepool. I hope Icepool will pass down all she knows on to you. Froststar calls Icepool up she had no idea that she would ever be a mentor
" Icepool you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from Bearclaw and you have shown yourself to be responsible and hardworking.You will be the mentor of Fogpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to Fogpaw.
Fogpaw walks up to me and I touch noses with him. At the end of the ceremony something unexpected happens Leafpaw becomes a warrior, her new name Leafstorm. "Icepool can we go now??" Fogpaw begs me. "Sure do you want to ask Sagepaw and MintPaw if they want to come with their mentors?" MintPaw ended up getting Snowflight and Sagekit got Waterstripe. Fogpaw races of as Bearclaw comes walking over to me. "Bearclaw can we talk later I have to take Fogpaw on a tour of the territory" Icepool quickly days before Bearclaw could say anything "Ok, but I still want to know your answer can we go on a walk tonight?" He asks. Icepool nods as Fogpaw comes running over. "Alright let's go". Icepool and Fogpaw walk down to the Cloudclan border. "This is the cloudclan border" I say to fogpaw as he sniffs around trying to memorize the scent. We finish the borders and walk back into camp. "Go to the fresh kill pile and get some food. I need to go talk to bearclaw" Fogpaw nods as I walk over to Bearclaw who is eating a squirrel. "Hey Bearclaw can we talk?" I ask him as he looks UUP me a and finishes his squirrel in a few bites. We walk out of camp together and into the hiding spot where I figured out the Leaf was my actual mother. "So do you have an answer for me?". I nod. "Bearclaw I-"I pause thinking about what I am about to say.
