After five years

Ariana's PoV:-

"Momma, I don't wanna go to school, today, spare me, please, pretty lady"

"Miss. Bella Ryan Adams, your momma is not going to spare you from the day at school, specially when it's your test day, my pretty lady" I told my five year old daughter .

She is too smart to be a five year old, ofcourse she is the carbon copy of her dad.

Her eyes, her beautiful face , and her wise brain, everything speaks of her dad.

My little one wanted to escape, from school, as it's her , maths test today and she was afraid of maths, unlike her mother.

My favourite subjects were maths and literature and Ryan's was Science and hers too.

Why am I thinking about him?

I was running pretty late , I have to drop Bella to her school and then rush to my job.

I tried once again, "ok my pretty lady, if you will agree to be my good girl, I will most definitely purchase a huge barbie set for you on your next birthday and ofcourse we are going to watch the Disney Princess movie, if you score an A"

She opened her eyes almost jumping in my arms and kissing my cheeks eeeing like she always does.

She then grabbed her stuffed panda, kissed it too and rushed into her bathroom.

I smiled at myself, making my way to the kitchen preparing our breakfast.

She rushed into the room, with her school bag and her maths revision notes, I prepared for her last night.

"Leave those notes, Bella and have your breakfast" I said.

"Momma-Bear, If I fail the test will you hate me?" she asked pouting.

"Never, my princess, if you passed with an A we'll watch Frozen , and if you fail we'll watch Cindrella" I said.

She giggled hugging me and kissing my cheeks, I kissed her forehead.

"I love you, Momma-bear, you know, Amy's mom says she will be grounded if she fails" she said pouting sadly.

"Awe..my little princess, I will always love you the same, whether you fail or you pass because you are the best. And what Momma always taught you?" I asked.

"That failures are the key to success and that those who fail they rise higher the next time as they are fighting strongly." She ranted.

I smiled and kissed her cheeks.

We had our breakfast and then rushed out together in a hurry. I am again late for the work, but I will manage as I am the editor of our publishing house and Ava loves my work.

Ava is my employer who is the best mentor and the best writer.
I am the editor of her publishing house.
Our job is to publish crispy novels and a teen mag.

Bella and I live in New York City in a 2BHK which is the best I could afford lately.

I left for New York City, the very next day to avoid the rumours and the stares of my town mates, when Aliena threw me out of my house.

Clieve and Chloe helped me into this. Chris played the major role as I lived with her here in New York for almost two years.

She helped me through my pregnancy and raising Bella.

I chose Bella as her because it was my Momma's mid name. I wanted to give her a part of me, momma and Ryan's so her name is - Bella Ryan Adams.

She is alot like him. I mean she has the same eyes and the same face cut as his. Her smile resembles mine though and she is the prettiest and the cutest five year old.

She is very intelligent and wise too. Many a times, she asks me questions about her father and I just say , " he loves you, darling, he is busy in his work and will come back soon."

I know she is sad not having a father but her father is the most eligible bachelor according to The NY Mag.

Ryan has truly followed his dreams and is one of the richest man of USA.

He wins every race and I am glad that I let him follow his dreams.

"Momma, I love You, pretty lady" she said kissing my cheeks when we reached her school.

"Momma, loves you too, princess" I said kissing her back.

"And All the best my Barbie" I yelled after her .

She flying-kissed me turning around.

I reached my office a little late as usual.

"Eve, I need the schedule for the meeting today, on my table right now" I ordered my PA.

I was not always that rude to her but she is very friendly with me and forgets to do her job seriously.

She nodded muttering, "Morning, Ari.."

It was around the lunch time when Chloe called, " Got the news?" She asked.

"What news?" I asked focusing on the next meeting's information lying infront of me.

"Clieve proposed Chris, they're getting married this valentine's" she said..

"Oh... really? " I almost yelled screeching like my five year old.

"Yeah...and you and I are the made of honor of course" she said happily.

"Oh..my god, so happy for them"

There was a knock at my door and so I bade good bye to my best friend and said come in to Eve.

"Ari, your next meeting is scheduled with--"

"Oh yeah Eve I know I am just coming to the conference room , sorry for being late dear." I cut her off.

I entered the meeting room a little late and our guests must be waiting for me for about five minutes now.

I was looking at my watch when I collided with....Ryan?

...awe, I loved the part where Ariana was so patient with Bella..... Her ways of dealing with a five old are the best....
