Ryan's PoV:-

Everything was going just fine before Ariana reappeared in my life. But now, I just want her, arghhhh....

This Love shit hurts.... Love? Really Ryan, did she ever love you?
She was in another bed within 24 hours.

My eyes watered instantly just by thinking about what she did, even after five years, I am fucking bellowing over this shit.

I wanted to ruin her , wanted to take back everything, just two days ago and now I want to know about her whereabouts.

She left her documents at my place that night, if she won't get those back , she won't get any job.

I called my personal investigator, "Mr. Jonas, I want all the information about Miss Ariana Adams within an hour" I said into the phone.

Taking out her file, I started reading her qualifications, she left for New York , within a month after I left because her first employment status was in a restaurant within 30 days after I left.
She worked as a housekeeper, What?
She was temporarily out of the job for a few months on a medical leave, it did not state any specific reason just medical. After around two years of working here and there, she published two of her novels , which were bestsellers of New York and then she was given the job of the editor, and then head of the editor, at The NY Publishers.

She has really gone through alot, I guess.

I took a few deep breaths, and made my way towards her house. I considered about sending the file by my driver but I really wanna see that she is safe or not.

I pulled my sports car in the driveway, it was not a safe society and her house was a matchbox sized considering my houses but it was atleast situated in a better area.

I was standing at her porch and noticed that there was not even a security system.

How can she be so careless. ?

I knocked as there was no electricity at her house and it was poorly lit , probably with candles or battery lamps, the door opened, and there stood Ariana in her shorts and a tank top , she was holding an electric torch in her hands.
On seeing me, her instant reaction was widening of her eyes, her lips started trembling and then fear. She was afraid of something.

She closed the door at my face , my hand turned into a fist because of the frustration .

I considered dropping the file at her doorstep and go back but the door re-opened and she stepped out of her house closing her door behind and locking it.

"Mr. Knight? " She asked after that.

"Miss Adams, you dropped your file at my place, I thought..." She grabbed the file from my hands hugging it into her chest she said, "Thank You" her voice shrieked a little as if she was resisting herself from crying.

"No Electricity?" I asked.

"Emmm....short circuit" she said.

"Want any help...." ,

"No..." She cut me off.

I nodded and turned away and sat myself into my car , pulling out of her driveway.

I saw her breathing a sigh of relief and entered her house shutting the door thereafter.

I called my PA, "Miss Williams, pay the electricity bill of the address I am texting you, and , pay for the remaining year".
