*Carmine's*

Hank, Ana, Justin, and Erin are seated at a table, enjoying their dinner, while Justin is telling a story.

"And so this brother comes across the yard. He's all skeezed out on crystal or something. And he says, he says, chicken pot pie. Like I'm supposed to know what that is, right?" He laughed as Erin and Ana have amused smirks on their faces. "So my boy looks at him, points back at the block and he says, that way. Did not matter what this cat was on. He just doubles back to where he came from lickety-split, you know what I'm saying?"

"Hey, J, listen, I've got some news. I had to pull some strings, but I got you in at the CTA." Hank informed as Justin looks between Erin and his mother.

"That's were city workers send their loser relatives." He stated.

"It's a job, sweetheart." Ana assured.

"And it'll help you get back on your feet." Erin added.

"You know you sound more and more like him every day, right?" Justin pointed out as Erin smirked and took a bite of her steak.

"You start Monday." Hank informed.

"Okay, Pop, sure." Justin scoffed as a phone rings and the three look at Hank.

"Excuse me, I gotta take this." Hank excused himself as he gets up and answers the phone.

"I'm gonna head to the little ladies room." Erin sighed, getting up and walking towards the bathroom.

"Well that worked out nicely, cause I've been meaning to ask you something." Justin admitted. "What's going on between you and Pop?"

"What do you mean?" Ana wondered, acting innocent.

"Come on, Mom. It's obvious something happened. Cause you haven't said a word to him the whole night and Pop's been staring at you like you just told him you didn't love him anymore." Justin explained as Ana sighed.

"Yesterday, before Erin and I came to pick you up, your father claimed that what he had to do was more important than seeing you walk out of the gates. It just, hit a nerve, I guess." She shrugged and Justin nodded in understanding.

Hank and Erin come back to the table at the same time as Hank addresses his wife.

"We gotta roll." He informed turning to his son. "Sorry kid."

*In the car*

(A/N if you watch Law & Order: SVU you'll know what I'm referring to here)

As they're driving, Hank sighed and turned to Ana while Erin sat in the back and watched.

"Princess, look, I know I messed up-"

"Henry, you know what hearing something like that brings back for me. After what my bitch of a mother did-"

"Yes, I know. I love you and I'm sorry." Hank apologized, keeping his eyes on the road.

"Apology accepted." Ana smiled. "And I love you too."

*On going crime scene*

The three got out of the car and walked over to Antonio and Jay, who are already vested up.

"House belongs to Dean Masters. His file was red-flagged to notify intelligence, but he must have been before my time." Antonio explained, showing them a picture of the guy on his phone.

"Oh, yeah, him. That robbery at the art institute last year. We liked him as the fence." Hank explained.

"The neighbors heard a woman scream. We knocked, he yelled out that he had a gun and to leave him alone." A patrol officer informed.
