Ana and Hank are in the office, at their usual spots, when Antonio comes in and places a file on the desk. He's about to turn and leave when he hesitates.
"Hear anything more about Pulpo getting pulled out?" He asked the two.
"Apparently he's got an unreasonable list of demands before he agrees to cooperate." Hank informed.
"Yeah, well, he's safer in prison." Antonio remarked.
He starts walking out the door, but is stopped by Ana's voice.
"There's a rat in here, Tony." She whispered, glancing out the open door and over to Sumner at her desk.
Hank and Antonio follow her gaze. The latter sighs and shuts the door.
"What did you think was gonna happen when you got this unit? They'd just leave you alone? With his history?" Antonio scoffed.
"We didn't think they'd be so obvious about it." Ana replied as Hank's radio went off.
"Go for Voight." He answered.
"It's Perry. Gustav Munoz is back. He struck again across town." Ron informed.
*Crime Scene*
The team walks into the house and into the dining room. On the floor around the table are 3 bodies: a mother and her two children. All shot in the side of the head and lying in pools of their own blood. Ron is there, and Belden is standing next to him.
"This was Munoz. We got proof of it upstairs." Ron explained.
Antonio, Hank, and Ana walk upstairs and see Erin and Sumner looking over two more bodies. Both young women and only in their undergarments. They also see the proof Ron was talking about, being that the room their in has been converted into a drug making area.
"Moving a lot of dope out of here." Erin observed.
Antonio, Hank, and Ana go back downstairs and into the living room. Ron and Belden are there, along with two more bodies. One on the couch and one on the floor. Jay comes in with bagged bullet in hand.
"Hey, fellas. Found a misfired bullet. It's a .22 hollow point, same as we found at the two-three stash house. Crime lab did a rush on the prints. It's a match for Gustav Munoz." Jay informed.
"Where are we finding this guy?" Ron inquired
"We have his face everywhere, Commander." Ana replied.
"ICE, anti-crime, every department is looking for him." Hank added.
"Look, I thought this guy was just a hired assassin." Ron recalled.
"Not quite, Commander. Munoz is going for a full-on power grab. He wants to wear that crown." Belden explained.
"I thought Munoz was working for Pulpo; yes or no?" Ron questioned.
"Yes. Commander, Pulpo has agreed to cooperate with us fully. We can ask him about Munoz, what his habits are, what his behavior patterns are." Belden answered.
"So why is he still in prison?" Ron wondered.
"Because he has a lot demands he keeps adding on-"
"Look, make the deal!" Ron yelled, silencing the Lieutenant. "Look around you! We already waited too long. Now anybody else still think it's a bad idea to work with Pulpo, raise your hand so I can see who to punch in the mouth." He sassed.
"I think it's insanity." Antonio admitted, raising his hand as Ron turns to the two Sergeants.
"You two run this operation." He turns to Belden "You are gonna make sure that Pulpo gets in and out of prison safe, you understand that?" Ron then turns back around and begins walking towards Antonio. "And you gonna keep your head on straight or you gonna take some vacation time. Either way is fine with me."
