A/N: Shinji is a good boy y'all are just mean. Also this is an AU where the Eva-03 attack never happened and Kaworu is not an Angel. May have JoJo references tho cuz' JoJo ruined my life... enjoy the angst/fluff ❤❤

It was a normal day at Tokyo-3, no Angels, no fights, nothing, just peace and tranquillity.

NERV recruited a new member pfft i mean a new Children. And this Children is (Y/N) (L/N), the Sixth Children. She's supposed to join Misato and the other Childrens for the meeting.

"Ah! There she is! Shinji, Rei, Asuka, Toji, Kaworu, this is (Y/N) the Sixth Children!" Said Misato with euphoria.

"H-hello (Y/N), i'm Shinji Ikari, the Third Children, pilot of the Evangelion Unit-01, nice to meet you...!" Said Shinji in a shy tone.

"Hello, my name's Rei Ayanami, the First Children, pilot of the Evangelion Unit-00. Nice to meet you." Said Rei in a cold and calm tone.

"Hallo! The name's Asuka Langley Soryu but you can call me Asuka! I'm the Second Children and pilot of the Evangelion Unit-02! Nice to meet you!" Said Asuka happily.

And the list goes on.

TIME SKIP TO 4 WEEKS (KING CRIMSON!)

Misato's house

You're on your way to your room, when suddenly you see a sad looking Shinji in his room mumbling words like "It's all my fault" in a depressed tone.

"Hey Shinji, what's up?"

"It's all my fault..."

"What happened."

"Toji got hit by an Angel the other day and it's literally my fault..."

"No it's not, it's just that you didn't have enough time to save him from the attack."

"You think so...?"

"Absolutely! It's not your fault at all Shinji! So please don't always consider that it's your fault!"

"(Y/N)...?" Asked the depressed teen.

"Yeah?"

"I think i like you. You're beautiful, intelligent, you're everything to me really. It's been 4 weeks since we first met and everytime i see your face i don't know, i just wanna be with you and let me tell you something."

"What is it, Shinji?" You asked.

"I love you, (Y/N). You're my antidepressant."

"I-i love you too, Shinji..."
