Iris's POV
"Be strong, Iris... because I know you'll do well. Once this is over... we can be a family... I promise you... we'll be a family."
Mr. Levi was right. After everything... we were going to be a family. I don't know how he did it... but he did. As a celebration, Mr. Levi and Mommy took Eren and I out to eat something nice! L-Like uh... I-I don't remember the name... but I think it was called... steak. Mashed potatoes was really yummy too.
Eren and I giggled the whole entire time... eating all of our food. I-I remember yawning after we had a cupcake for dinner. Mr. Levi said that it was alright- says it was a celebration for me. But I was getting full already, so I shared it with Eren. Mommy and Mr. Levi said they didn't want to have something sweet.
Just when we were going to leave, my legs wouldn't work. Eren was a little tired too, but he was still able to walk. I just couldn't move my legs.
"I gotcha ya." Mr. Levi says, picking me up from the chair and holding me tightly. I remember he carried Eren like this. He rested his hand on my back, gently patting my back. "We'll head home as soon as we can. But it's okay that you can take a nap."
I nodded my head, closing my eyes. I could feel Eren taking my hand and giggling at me. "G-Goodnight, Iris!"

When my eyes opened back up, I was inside of Mr. Levi's house. Mommy was waking me up, so I can take a bath before going to bed. Once I had my bath, I had some water before going to bed. Mommy always tucked me in before bed... but this time... she said that Mr. Levi wanted to talk to me. Eren was also going to be tucked to bed, but he's usually asleep when Mommy comes in.
Mr. Levi walked in, saying hi to me before he went over to Eren. He tucked him in before he walked over to me. He smiles softly, brushing my hair off my forehead. "You're good, Iris?"
I nodded my head, "Mhm."
"That's good." He chuckles softly, looking out the door before turning back to me. "You were quite brave, Iris. Now, you don't have to stay with your real dad. You can stay with your mom now. That's what you wanted, didn't you?"
Once more, I nodded my head.
"I... I have something to ask you, Iris." I tilted my head, seeing him a little red. "Do you mind it if... well... I can be your dad? I wanted to do something for your mom... but I had to ask you. It's a little weird talking about this to you... but again... I had to make sure it's alright with you."
My real dad...
Mommy really likes him... and I do think that Mr. Levi is a better daddy than mine. Eren likes to talk to me about how great he is. If I really, really wanted it... I wanted my real one to be like Mr. Levi. But he wants to be my real dad... a family... he promised that we would be a family. I want to know what it means. But...
"Iris?"
I smiled real big, giggling softly. "I don't mind. I think you're a better daddy than my real one."
Mr. Levi chuckled softly, kissing my forehead. "Alright then. I just needed your approval. For now, rest your head, close your eyes, and sleep. When you wake up tomorrow, your mom needs to go somewhere... but I can take you and Eren out tomorrow when she's busy."
"Okay."
"Goodnight, Iris." He then turns to Eren, who was already asleep. "Goodnight, Eren."
He began walk out of the room... not before I called out to him. "Goodnight, Daddy!"
