When we got to the restaurant, for some reason it looked really empty. As we began to walk towards it, Michael laughed and put his arm around my shoulder. I got a warm tingly feeling, I really never felt before but I liked it.

"What's so funny Clifford!?"

"Nothing just wait." he said. He rushed ahead of me to the door and opened it. When I walked in I realized I was right, the restaurant was completely empty. But there was one table with a candle and beautiful bouquet of roses, my favorite.

"Woah! What's all this?" I said blushing.

"Just a little something." He replied we sat down and began to talk. We laughed and giggled the whole time. I haven't been like this since I was with Daniel. Michael being the goofball he is stuck a spoon to his nose and started acting like a seal. Every single thing he said, every silly thing he did completely mesmerized me. I never believed in love at first sight but I think Michael's changed my mind.

When we left dinner, we went back to my place. No one was home.

"Um wanna come in?" I ask, a little hesitant.

"I would but I have to go meet with Calum and Ashton. But let me walk you to your door." I took the bouquet of roses and lead the way to the door. I put them down on the little table we had on the porch. When I turned around to open the door, I glanced at Michael who looked serious all of a sudden.

"Everything ok?" I said turning to him after opening the door. Instead of responding he walked towards me and put one hand around my waist. We began to waddle a little like penguins on ice.

"Michael what are you doing" I asked gigging.

"Would you be upset if I, I don't know, kissed you?" I looked at his eyes after he said that. Was I really gonna kiss Michael? He put one hand on my check and stroked it. He looked down at me and and finally kissed me. It felt like a shock of electricity. He pulled away and looked away.

"Goodbye Rose. I'll text you." he said as he began to walk away. His electric red hair glowing in the night.

The next day I invited Adelaide to tell her all about last night. I told her every detail.

"Aw he's so sweet!" She said. "Do you feel ok Rose? Are you happier? I know it's been tough for you lately and I wanna make sure your happy."

"I don't know anymore. I'm only happy with you and with Michael. And when I'm alone, my thoughts tear me apart." I replied, eyes a little teary. "Anyways..." I replied wipling my eyes. "How was your date with Luke?"

"Amazing! When I got to my apartment, there were candles everywhere. There was a movie ready to be watched, take out and snacks on the table and a big teddy bear on the sofa. After the movie Luke took me to my room where there were rises on the bed. After talking while cuddling and listening to music, we fell asleep." She said turning pink.

"Aww how cute. I have to say we've found some pretty great dudes."

My phone buzzed, it was a text from Michael.

*Hey I missed you, I wish we could hang out tonight but I have an interview with the boys. If you need anything let me know.*

*Aww it's ok I missed you too. Call you later*

I replied. And with that I got no response.

After Adelaide left, I went to my room. My parents were home but it was awakward. I didn't feel like myself for some reason. The rush of happiness I had the night before was gone. A feeling of anxiety rushed over me. I began to cry silently so my parents wouldn't hear me. And even thought it was only 7:30, there I lay, crying myself to sleep.
