THREE DAYS LATER...
"Camille?" my dad woke me up, and I sat up. "Yea?" I asked, stretching. "Well I have to attend some business today, I'll be back by noon, I want you to stay in bed, please," he looked at me and I nodded. "Fine with me, what time is it anyway?" I asked and he smiled. "Six," he said and looked at me. "Now Camille, I will be sending someone to keep an eye on you, just to let you know," he pointed at me and I rolled my eyes. "I know dad, sorry about that anyway," I rubbed my eyes and he sat beside me.
It had been three days since my 'incident' and we hadn't really discussed it, just let it pass with the wind, I guess. The awkward silence filled the room as my father waited patiently to begin the conversation I dreaded.
"What happened?" he asked and I looked at him. "What do you mean?" I asked and he grabbed my left arm, which was still red but no longer as swollen. "Honey, your arm became swollen and your temperature began rising, it wasn't because of the sun, we had no clue, and then you just awoke, and now you look as healthy as a horse," he clamped onto my hands and sighed. "I just can't lose you too, please be careful," he said and I nodded. "I'm sorry dad, I love you," I hugged him and he hugged me back. "I know, I love you too."
He was gone with those words and I found solace in my beautiful and comfortable bed.
I awoke again at twelve and walked around the small inn we were staying in. Finding a note stating my dad was going to be later than he thought, I fixed a small brunch of toast and a fruit cup. I decided to wear a nice white thawb, it was a very fashionable one, with red designs and a red head dress, aligning my hair over my shoulders. I looked in front of the mirror and smiled, I loved this. Applying the makeup from my dresser, deciding on bold red lipstick, I walked around in my room, noting that I had a balcony. If only I had long flowing black hair, I would feel like Princess Jasmine, I randomly thought.
Walking out on it, I looked and admired the city we were in. It was a beautiful and magnificent view and I grew a little sad knowing it would probably be a while until my dad trusted me to go out and venture once more. "Glad to see someone is alright," I heard Adio's voice from below. Looking down I waved and smiled. "Come on up," I said and he looked around. "Your father would kill me," he said and I rolled my eyes. "He's not here," I shrugged and he nodded. "Fine," he smiled and my heart melted.
His face was just too cute, his wife was a lucky woman. I watched as he ran, making it within five minutes, looking at me. "Wow," he said and I looked down. "I got this at that shop," I shrugged and he stared at me. "You look," he stopped and walked around me, "beautiful." "Your wife wouldn't like those words," I blushed and he shrugged. "They are honest words," he looked at me, stared at me.
It had also been a while since I last saw him, with those sad eyes and my guilt returned. Fighting it, I just simply smiled and sat on my bed as he sat on the floor across from me. "Thank you for telling my dad," I said and he shrugged. "I couldn't let you lie, and I knew he was scared," he shrugged. I nodded and rubbed my arm, it was tingling again. "What happened that night? You left me hanging," he paused, "did you not trust me?" I grew quiet and he nodded, letting it go as I tried to think of something, rubbing my arm which caught his attention.
"What happened to your arm?" he asked, grabbing it and I again shrugged.
