"Good morning, well day," the elder woman, walked around my room; well the room. I looked around, I survived another night, and surprisingly without a dream. Maybe it was just some weird reaction to whatever medication I was on, or something. I stretched and sat up, pushing my hair back. "What time is it?" I asked, looking around, at the glaring sun. "Almost noon, you sleep awfully late," she smiled, handing me new clothes; a soft pink dress. "Thank you, and sorry for last night, how's Adio?" I asked and she gave me a sad and tired look. "I don't know how many times I had to talk him out of sleeping beside you, I am beyond exhausted," she smiled, but it was fake. "Really?" I asked, standing out of bed, failing miserably. I fell to my side and she was beside me quickly. "Are you alright?" she asked and I nodded; lying. I was in intense pain and agony. "What hurts?" she asked, helping me back to the bed. "Nothing, I'm fine, thanks but I'd like to dress myself now please," I looked at her and she nodded, leaving and locking the door.

I moved the blanket and looked at the huge bruise on my leg, no longer just a palm but more and bigger. I didn't want to touch it, but I had to check the damage. I rubbed my finger on it, and bit my lip; this wasn't good. This pain was unbearable and I knew this was only going to get harder to hide.

"Unlock the door, I need to talk to her," I heard him say, and the door shuffled. "This isn't a good idea," I heard the older woman talk. I instantly covered my body and looked at the door, waiting. What was he going to say to me? Would we speak of last night, of my awkward ass feelings, I thought as I braced myself? His handsome face was something no one could ever get used to and I caught myself checking him out despite being in pain and embarrassed.

"How are you?" he asked, looking behind him as the woman rolled her eyes and closed the door. "I'm fine," I tried hard to hide the grimace, which thankfully he didn't see. "About last night," he started, walking toward me, before I raised my hand. "No, nothing happened, thankfully, we are just friends, Adio not much to talk about," I said and he gave me a weird look, shaking his head so slightly before stopping me. "But, I wanted to kiss you, you shouldn't want to kiss friends, right?" he said. He wanted to what? Wait, what?

My heart fell, what the hell was going on? "No, I don't think they do, but we can't do that," I scooted up, realizing my back was sore too. What happened to me last night? He scooted closer, gently placing his hands on either side of me, securing my place on the bed. "But I want to, Camille," he leaned closer, "I let last night register in my brain and your feelings are not one sided. I care about you more than just as a friend, Camille."

Coming closer to me, he slowly placed a soft kiss on my open mouth and pulled back to watch my reaction, this wasn't good. "I'm afraid that this wasn't enough. I can't just give you up like that" I looked at him before I could fully register his words' true meaning, what did he mean? He held unto my face and I just watched him in silence. This was too much, but I couldn't stop the tingles that awoke inside of me. It felt as if I was on fire and he was the ice cooling my body down. "I would like to kiss you again, please." What?

I had to move, I didn't care about the pain in my body, because this was just too much. I can't ruin a family, or lose my virginity to a married man, yes, I had thoughts. I pushed him back and moved away, screaming instantly. Great, now I was caught.

"What's wrong?" Adio returned to my side. "Nothing, it's nothing, I'm just sore," I sighed, trying to catch my breath. "Camille, why are you lying," he said, standing and removing the blanket. I felt tears fall down my cheeks and his jaw dropped as he saw the real damage I was trying to hide. "What the hell, you have bruises all over you, what happened?" he asked and I turned my face, tears still falling down my face. "I don't know, I just woke up, please be quiet," I covered his mouth. "No, I can't be quiet besides your father isn't here, he's in a meeting, I need to get you taken care of. There's a hospital not too far from here," he lifted me, putting me back down noticing my night gown. "I'm not going outside like this, I need to get dressed," I tried to cover my body and he looked away quickly. "Well get dressed, I'll be back. Do you wish I help you?" "No, I can do this," I shook my head and he nodded, walking away from me slowly as I stood and grabbed unto the side of the bed for balance. If he stayed any longer I knew I was going to burst. The sudden tension broke as soon as he let me go and stood away from me.
