"Are you awake?" I felt a hand on my forehead. "Her temps good, she's just exhausted, I give it another day until it wears off," I heard a familiar voice and I opened my eyes. "Thanks, Adio, I'm sorry for the way I treated you before, I know I'm very overprotective of my daughter," I heard my dad apologize. Was he crying? Why couldn't I open my eyes? I felt so weak.

"No, it's completely understandable, I have a baby on the way, hopefully by the end of this week I shall be on my way to visit my wife and our new addition," I heard Adio speak up. I felt suddenly bummed and hated myself. This shouldn't bother me. "That's amazing, fatherhood is amazing," was all I heard before I blacked out again.

I looked around, and slowly sat up, my body sore. "Honey, are you ok?" I saw my dad sitting beside me, he grabbing my hand and I nodded. "Yeah, sorry dad," I sighed, rubbing my eyes and my neck. I felt like shit, my body was sore, I was groggy.

"For what?" he asked, and I looked out into the dark sky. Another day wasted. "For ruining this trip dad," I started to cry, and felt his arms go around me. "No. No, no, honey, I am not mad at you, I just want you to feel better," my dad squeezed me and I tried to stop crying. I felt so guilty, and I knew he didn't care about this trip anymore, but that didn't stop the guilt; I felt horrible. "We were supposed to finish this trip, for mom," I kept crying, like a big baby. "Shh, mom wouldn't mind a little set back, look get better and we will, we have five days left," my dad pulled me back so I was face to face with him. Had I been out for six days straight? "Get your sleep, and I promise we will," he said and I nodded. "I am tired," I backed away and laid down. "Good night honey," my dad kissed my forehead and I smiled. "Goodnight dad," I sighed and closed my eyes.

I heard him leave, but I couldn't return to sleep. I was done with sleeping and with these dreams stalking me I needed answers. Standing out of my bed, I didn't know what controlled me, but I grabbed a jacket and shoes and walked out of the inn. I had to find answers for what was happening to me, I had to go back. I looked around, loving the coolness of the air. I realized I forgot my head scarf but it was too late, I pushed my hair back and continued walking. I had to make this quick.

I had to find out what was wrong with me before it happened. I didn't know what 'it' was but I didn't want to wait to find out.

I walked in the store and waited for something, or someone. "He has contacted you?" the woman walked in. This time she didn't have her cane, she stood tall and proud and I nodded. How did she know?

Of course, she knew, ever since I placed that damn bracelet on these dreams had started. It all began to make sense; she was the black lady, she was the Echidna. "Who is he? Why does Sesmu think I am some woman named Kamilah? Why am I dreaming about him?" I asked and she smiled. "My child, if you don't know, then you'll find out soon enough, come," she grabbed my hand and I looked back. Of course, no one was following me, I just felt paranoid; I felt an aura as if I was being followed. "What is going on?" I asked and she sat down, I beside her. "You are special Camille," she started off. "How?" I asked and she quieted me, grabbing a bag and handing it to me. "This is what you may call as magic, or dark magic, I forget the many names," she smiled and closed my hands around it. "I want you to drink this, you will know everything that you need to know. That is all I can do for you, and once you know, come back to me. You will need one more thing to finish this." "Finish what?" I asked and she gave me a stern look and I knew to remain quiet. "You were chosen, and you must succeed all those that were before you. All those that sacrificed their souls for you, remember that child, because this power that you possess is deadly and great. Prepare yourself because this must pass and you must be ready." "Chosen?" I asked, "what do you mean chosen?" "That moment you placed that bracelet on, you caused the avalanche that is soon to come. You must be ready, Camille." "Ready for what?" I asked, growing more confused and scared. I looked around once more, feeling someone's eyes on my back, did it suddenly get hot in here or...? "You must be ready for him. I must prepare you before it is too late."

"So, you're telling me, I have no choice?" I asked and she cradled my face in her hot, withered hands and smiled, sadly. "Do we ever have a choice over our future?" and with that she stood and sighed. In her hand, she threw black powder in my face, "Be safe and have a safe journey."

I tried to stand but my body grew weak. I felt my heart quicken in pace and my brain try to think of what the hell was going on. I had to get out, that smoke was getting to me, but it was too late. Everything was going black and I couldn't seem to stop it. What an untimely death, for a young dumb rich girl.
