Ashton Irwin's pov

My alarm sounds throughout the room and I roll sleepily onto my side to shut it off. When I sit up it takes me a little while to remember where I am and then I smile to myself as the loud yet calming noise of the cars race through the busy streets below us.
When I notice Bella is not by my side I swing my legs from under the duvet and walk into the lounge of the huge hotel room.
I find her in there, fully dressed and her hair is still slightly damp from where she has had a shower.
She doesn't notice me at first and paces back and forth, across the living room, mumbling something to herself, looking down at the floor and holding her phone in one hand.
I cough gently to get her attention and she jumps when she sees me.
"Oh! Ashton you scared me!" She sits down on the black leather sofa and I join her.
"Are you okay?" I ask, slightly concerned about her odd behaviour.
She sighs, "I'm meeting my mother in about two hours, Ashton!" She says barely a whisper.
"So your not okay?"
"I don't know, I'm so excited and happy but I'm really scared and nervous, I'm mean look, feel my hands" she places them on mine and I feel the sweat coming off of them.
"Ew" I tease her and wipe my hands on cushion next to us.
She places her head in her hands and lets out another sigh, "I'm joking by the way. It's not that bad, I fart when I get nervous" I chuckle and she slowly lifts up her head to look at me.
"Ew" she wrinkles her nose but then starts laughing. I wrap my arms around her and she rests her head on my chest.
"It'll all be okay today you know" I reassure her.
She nods then pulls away.
"You better get ready, maybe we could pick up one of those McDonald's breakfast meals on the way, I think it will help" she says even though we both know it wont help with her 'nerves' and in fact she just wants one because she feels like it.
"Well I'm sure if we ask the taxi driver nicely we can do that.

"Its 10:01. It's meant to come at 10:00! The cab is late, what if its not coming?" Bella panics as we stand outside our hotel and wait for the taxi. I can tell with every minute that goes by, she gets even more scared and worried and I find myself holding her hand, just to try and comfort her a little, "no Ashton, what if its a sign that I shouldn't of come, what if she doesn't want to see me" she continues.
"Woah. Slow down. She was the one who got in touch with you. She was the one who wanted to arrange all this. Of course she wants to see you, don't be silly" I tell her and she checks the time again on her phone.
"10:02" she bites her lip and looks up and down the busy street, "there's so many taxis around, I don't know which one is ours or not ours for that matter"
"Just calm down! It's probably held up in traffic" I say.
"Okay" she replies quietly and takes a deep breath out.
We stand around for a few more minutes, Bella checks her phone every few seconds, until finally, at around 10:07 as Bella reminded me, it showed up.
"Sorry kids, got held in terrible traffic" a different taxi driver from yesterday says to us as we climb in.
"Told you" I whisper to Bella and she rolls her eyes at me.
"So were are you two off to then?" The man asks us and Bella fishes around in her pocket and pulls out a blue piece of paper that her grandma gave her and passes it to the driver.
"This address" she tells him and he nods.
"Sure, it will take about half an hour" he says before starting the car and driving off.
I place my hand on Bella's knee.
"You okay?" I ask.
"No, but I'm sure I'll be fine" she smiles then rests her head on my shoulder, slowly shutting her eyes.
