It was already Thursday night. I had all day off so I ran some errands, cleaned my apartment, and relaxed. It was lonely in this city. My family were hours away, which was the hardest part. I missed being able to go to my mom's house whenever I needed her. I was still very new to this big city, I hadn't made any friends yet unless you included Jessie, who I find myself crushing on harder every time I think of her. I definitely appreciated her being so inviting and helpful but, I don't think she knows her affect on me or even the fact that I'm attracted to her. All I know is I was hoping I could make some new friends tomorrow so I wouldn't feel completely out of place here.
My night went by quickly and before I knew it, it was Friday morning. The light shined in through the crack in my curtain and the birds were softly chirping outside my window. It was a warm sunny day and I had the party to look forward to after work. I made breakfast, watched a few movies and then I had to head to work.
I worked by myself all day and only had to ask a few questions. Finally, work was over and Jessie and I we're finishing up our cash-outs together. All the girls and guys decided to meet there for 10pm. I realized as we were about to leave that I hadn't packed my bag for the party.
"Shit. I forgot to bring my outfit and pack a bag for tonight." I looked at her apologetically.
"That's okay, I have to stop and get liquor anyways." She smiled and then we hopped in her car.
Shortly after driving we reached the liquor store and I waited in the car for her while she grabbed the drinks.
A few minutes later she came back with a big paper bag and put it in the backseat.
"Holy, did you buy every bottle in there?" I joked.
"No." She giggled then continued "I bought a bottle of vodka, whiskey, and I got a couple mixed drinks for you."
I smiled at her sweet gesture. It was cute she was thinking about me and I'm glad she did because I totally forgot to buy alcohol. I only had a half drank bottle of wine on my counter and that wouldn't cut it tonight.
We reached our apartment building and Jessie parked the car. I suggested we both just go into my place and get ready together considering we were both still in our work uniforms and it was going to take me a minute to pack my bag. She agreed and we headed up the elevator. I suddenly got extremely nervous at the fact that Jessie would be entering my place for the first time.
I internally settled my nerves as I unlocked my door and walked into my hall. Our apartments we're most likely the same set up so I didn't need to give her the tour.
"I'm gonna pack my bag, you can come into my room if you want." I wasn't sure if this was weird to her.
She followed me into my room and sat on my bed. She didn't seem uncomfortable or awkward. Her presence actually calmed me a bit. She was relaxed and gave off good energy, it was comforting.
I packed my bag with a brush, my wallet, an extra pair of clothes just in case, and my phone charger.
"Do you mind if I change?" Jessie asked while grabbing her clothes out of her bag.
"No not at all. The bathroom is beside us." I pointed to the bathroom that connected to my room.
She walked into my bathroom and without closing the door she began to strip off her uniform. I caught a glimpse of her fit body and I couldn't take my eyes off her. Her long legs and toned stomach were exposed. Her matching black bra and underwear complimented her figure perfectly.
How could someone be that attractive and in shape like that? I thought to myself while continuing to stare.
I quickly averted my eyes as soon as she turned around, hopefully not noticing my admiration of her body.
