"Hey, you're not gonna believe who called me " I said to Jess when we arrived school.
"Um, Taylor Swift?, please let it be Taylor swift " Jess said excitedly
"Ohh as much as I'd wish for it to be her, sadly it isn't" I said sadly. I love Taylor swift too, she's my favorite artist. We watched her concert on TV the other day and now we can't just shut up about her.
"Then I'm not interested to know who it was " Jess said sassily.
"Jess!!" I yelled out her name.
"Ok OK!, who was it?, zayn malik?"
"No it was Mason "
"Mason malik?"
"Who's Mason malik?!!!"
"I don't know, you tell me " jess is just trying to get under my skin now.
"Really!" I said
"Ok!, Mason who then? " still pretending not to know who I'm talking about.
"Mason Kendall!, Jesus! "
"Mason Kendall Jesus, no I don't think I've heard of him" she said cheekily.
"Are you kidding me!! " I was fed up with her plays.
"Ok OK OK, I'm just kidding with you, now tell me, how in the hell did Mason Kendall get a hold of your number " she asked and I shrugged.
"I have no idea, don't you wanna know what he said?" I asked her
"What did he say?"
"He said I'd be meeting with the 'the girl' today " I said with my two fingers in the air while saying 'the girl'.
"What 'the girl' ?" she said copying my motion.
"The girl that's supposed to be my lookalike stalker " I said.
"oh, ohhh, wow, you're gonna meet her today, that's eh kinda huge, don't you think? " Jess said
"Yea yea, it IS huge, I mean what if she turns out to be my sister, like my flesh and blood real life sister, mehn!, I don't know how I'd react to that " I said not really sure what to think of everything.
"Yeah, but let's not jump into any conclusions just yet okay? "
"You're right Jess "
"So Mason has your phone number huh? " she said with a raised eyebrow and I raised mine too.
"Yeah, I guess he does. What are you trying to say?"
"I didn't say anything, did I?"
"Good. Keep it that way."
"So have you spoken to Lucas yet?"
"No but I'm planning on it" I lied.
I didn't know what to say to him now that I'm no longer tutoring him.
"Really?" Jess asked me as if she knew I was lying.
"Yeah, really "
"Ok if you say so" she said giving me a knowing look that says,' I'll let it go but if you wanna talk about it, I'm here for you'. And I just nodded at her and smiled.
