Alex's POV
Today's the day, first day of work and tutoring Lucas Scott, seems like I have a lot on my plate.
I did all the necessary chores last night and also my homework so that I won't be that stressed this morning. The only thing left for me to do is to prepare breakfast for everyone.
“Hey Alex, so is it true you got the job?” Ace asked me when he came downstairs.
“Goodmorning to you too ace” I said to him.
“Right, sorry, morning, so tell me ” he said quickly.
“Yeah it is true, isn't it amazing?” I said to him happily.
“Yeah it is, am happy for you” he said
“Thanks”
“So it's true, you got a new job ” Anika, ace's twin sister said when she came downstairs.
“Yeah” I said awkwardly to her and she rolled her eyes at me.
“Well I just wanted to say congrats and goodluck” she said to me and I honestly couldn't believe my ears, she's being nice to me, and that's just too weird.
I raised an eyebrow at her and said “Who are you and what have you done with the anika I know and love” and that made her roll her eyes again and muttered something that sounded like 'Whatever' before she left for school.
Then I turned to her brother ace and raised an eyebrow and he just shrugged and said “Don't even ask” then he left too.

“So are you excited? ” Jess asked me when we got to school.
“About what? ” I asked her.
“About work silly” she said.
“Not really ” I said to her not sure.
“How can you not be!, wait a minute, unless you're excited about something else” she said to me while raising an eyebrow at me.
“Which is?" I asked her but I already knew the answer to that.
“Its that Lucas guy isn't it? ”
She asked me.
“What!, no no no, of course not” I denied it but yeah it is true, I was kinda excited about tutoring Lucas Scott today.
“You know you can't lie to me right?, I know you ” she said to me.
“I've told you the truth, I don't care about Lucas Scott any longer not to talk of thinking about him so please” I continued denying it.
“Fine, if you say so ” then we went to class.

After school hours, I was greeted by Lucas Scott on my way out of class.

“Hi” I said back.
