It's y/n and Carmelo's first day at their new school. Y/N was not excited, but he wondered what Helen's classmates were like, so it pushed him to get dressed. Carmelo was not excited either, but their mom said she'd make muffins after school, and he really wanted a muffin.

Y/N walks through the halls of his new school quickly. He wants a seat right next to Helen; since he's the only one y/n knows, and y/n wanted to know Helen better. He really wanted to be Helen's friend, and he wondered if Helen had any. If he did, what would they be like? Would they be drawing introverts as well? Y/N doesn't know if he could handle that.

When y/n walks into class, it goes silent. Y/N doesn't expect this, so he does the first thing that comes to mind. After all, first impressions are everything, right? The teacher wasn't in the room yet, so he could do it. This was the riskiest introduction in y/n's book, and he was all for it.

"Hey, it's ya boy, uh, skinny penis."

The room was silent. This is why it was risky. Suddenly, the class erupted in giggles. The giggling turned into laughter and y/n was saved from his grave.

However, Helen was not impressed. Making such a scene on the first day? This was troublesome to Helen, especially if y/n walks around claiming their best friends. It brings unwanted attention that Helen did not want.

"I'm just messing with you! I'm y/n, your new transfer student!" Y/N announces, quickly taking a seat near Helen. Helen chooses to ignore you. Y/N pays him no mind, "Probably sensitive to attention", he thinks.

Y/N is getting approached by a lot of people, who want to record him or be his friend. Some people disliked him, thought he was nasty for saying such a thing, but he didn't care. After all, he had too much confidence to care about a few comments.

"Hey, I'm Judy. That's Maggie, and that's Ban." Judy introduced. Y/N waved happily. "Wanna be part of our group?" Maggie asked. Y/N looked at Helen, who still ignored him. He wanted anything, any form of emotion to tell him if it was a bad idea or not. Helen still ignored him, not even glancing over to him. "Sure!" Y/N agrees. Then class starts.

Bored from school work, y/n quietly rips a page out of his notebook and scribbles a note on it. He folds it neatly and waits for the teacher to turn around before handing it to Helen.

"Hey, Helen! What'cha drawing?" The note asks, a stick figure smiling in the corner. Helen looks at y/n, who glances at him. Smiling, he looks away, pretending to pay attention. When the note is handed back, y/n playfully rolls his eyes.

"Nothing." Helen replies.

"Don't be stubborn, let me see! I bet it's TheBomb.com!"

Helen stares at the note, a little weirded out. TheBomb.com? Never in his life has he heard anyone use this word, and he didn't know how to feel about it. Eventually, he passed the note back.

"You're never allowed to use that word again." Helen wrote. Y/N held in a giggle, scribbling another sentence down. Their handwriting was quite different. Helen's writing was neat and pretty, while y/n's was. . . Okay. It wasn't the worst, but it definitely wasn't the best either.

"Only if you show me what you're drawing! :D"

Helen has never passed notes in class before. This was quite fun, even if it was with y/n. He just hoped no one else saw their action, because that would bring unwanted attention. Helen does not like all eyes on him. Helen quietly folded the paper full of doodles and folded the note-filled paper around it. Watching the teacher closely, he hurriedly gave it to y/n.

Indeed, it was doodles. Doodles of random things in the classroom. The board, the teacher's desk, a book, a bookshelf, a notebook, a desk, and Helen himself was on the page. Y/N stared in amazement. Helen thought he could see sparkles in y/n's eyes.

Y/N is becoming Helen's number one fan.

Lunch came around and y/n was in the cafeteria with his new group of friends. It was great. They laughed, talked, and played. Y/N's name was becoming famous for his legendary introduction. Y/N loves attention. Like a toddler who gains friends because of his sixty-four pack Crayola crayons.

But something bothered him. Where is Helen, and why isn't he by y/n's side? Y/N has been looking around the cafeteria with his eyes, but hasn't seen even a smear of Helen. There was lots of raven-haired boys in the cafeteria, so it was hard to look. Just look at the eyes, y/n told himself. Those pretty blue eyes that y/n loved to look at, but they were no where to be seen.

Maybe Helen wasn't in the lunchroom? Maybe he left, like other students were doing. He stood up from the table, immediately getting the attention of his friends. "Where are you going, y/n?" Maggie asked. "Just to use the bathroom." Y/N replies. He gives a small wave and leaves the cafeteria.

Helen is no where to be seen. Y/N worries. Where could Helen be? He couldn't have traveled far! He's always got his head in his sketchbook, and stops unconsciously when he's focused on a certain part. Maybe he's not looking hard enough. Y/N is a pretty tall boy, so maybe he just has to look down more.

Y/N's attempt to find Helen was a failure. Y/N slowly walked to his next class, his ears still ringing from the bell. When he reaches the classroom, Helen is there.

Running over, y/n stares at Helen, who glances up to show he acknowledges y/n is there. "Where were you? I spent most of lunch looking for you." Y/N pouts as he sits down. Helen takes note that y/n is very childish, and assumes if y/n doesn't get his way he might cry and have a tantrum like a toddler. By the look on y/n's face, it was possible. Sighing, he motions y/n close.

"I was in my secret place." Helen says gently. Y/N's small fit seemed to be immediately over. "Oh! I see! Got you!" Y/N smiles. Helen gives a small nod, placing a finger over his lips as he locks eye contact with y/n. Y/N does the same and Helen goes back to drawing.

"So, wanna show me around the neighborhood for any cool places?" Y/N askes, gently pushing his elbow on Helen. "Uhm, sorry. I'm a little busy." Helen declines politely, but y/n doesn't seem to understand the words. Busy? What is that? Some sort of curse word?

"Come on, neighbor! You can't just draw all day!" Y/N whines. Helen ignores him. Y/N truly does act like a child. He's such a handful. Helen does not want to be y/n's friend, but y/n does not feel the same. He wants Helen to be his best friend. Helen does not have friends, and wants to keep it that way. He doesn't want to be hurt again. Not now. He doesn't deserve it.

Y/N's pleas were beginning to become annoying. Helen cannot concentrate on his artwork because y/n is whining in his ear. He holds in the urge to tell y/n to shut up, as that would bring unwanted attention. Helen does not like all eyes on him. How could one person be so childish, so annoying, so.. so everything?! Helen did not know. He knows that Phil was never this way.

"C'mon! I know you wanna hang out with me~! You need to get out of the house, too! Vitamin D comes from the sun, and you need it! See? Win-win situation~!" Y/N says. Helen glances at y/n. "Fine." He mumbles. "Yay!" Y/N cheers and class begins. He leaves Helen alone for the rest of the day, knowing he's annoyed at him for acting such a way. Y/N is going to give Helen space to calm down. Y/N wants Helen to like him, not hate him.

After school, they were going to hang out until their curfew.
