Saving Hook

Part 4. His story

"Wait! Can I join you?" I say, not understanding my actions.

"Why is that love?" he says puzzled.

"Well, the reason I'm in the forest is because I want an adventure, and I think observing a pirates life would be perfect for what I seek." I say confident that he'll say yes.

"I will only agree to this if you tell me your real name. Just because I'm a pirate, doesn't mean I'm stupid enough to not see you lie to me." Hook says playfully.

"Fine you got me." I say, sighing. "My name is Emma. Emma okay? Can I come?" I say slightly irritated.

"Emma." He repeats as it rolls of his tongue slowly. "Well Emma if you insist love." Hook says shrugging, with his famous smile.

I run after Hook and catch up with him. "So who is after you?" I ask curiously.

Hook turns his head to me harshly and says, "Are you sure you want to follow me?"

"Yes! I can handle it. Tell me."

Hooks face grows with a darkness that I have never seen. He intensely grabs me by my shoulders and says "A powerful, dark man named Rumplestilkin wants my heart." He then violently drops my shoulders back to the ground.

My face grows pale when I hear those words. Rumplestilkin wants his heart? I thought he had changed, I thought he wouldn't do that to anyone anymore. I thought he changed for Belle, and not to mention Neal!

"Why does he want your heart?" I ask, confused. Hook turns his face away from me, refusing to look at me. Should I have not asked him that? Maybe this subject is to painful for him to talk about.

I'm about to apologize, but Hook starts speaking "He thought I took his wife that he loved, Milah. But I didn't. Apparently she was hiding in my ship, trying to get away from Rumplestilskin. While she was on board, she was taken by a shadow that brought her to Neverland."

"A few days later, Rumplestilskin found out that Milah was on my ship, and he found out what happened to her. He blames me for everything. He sent my crew and I to go to Neverland to find Milah, and bring her back to him. If we completed this task he wouldn't kill me."

Hook stops for a minute. I think he surprised himself on how open he was being.

He takes a deep breath and continues saying "My crew and I looked on the entire island to find Milah, and after years and years of searching we found her. But she always hated having Rumplestiltskin in her life and refused to leave."

"That's when I started to go crazy. My hatred for Rumplestilkin bringing me here was growing and I started to try and find my way off the island. It took 200 years."

"When I came back, I came back crazy, broken, and ruined. The next week, Rumplestilkin saw that I had failed, and he cut off my hand. He told me that in he future he would need me for his dirty work. He said he would need my heart when the time was right to complete some sort of plan to make him the most powerful sorcerer. He told me he needed a savior, and he'd use me against it."

Hey everyone! Here is a kinda long chapter for you guys. Sorry I haven't posted one in a long time, it won't normally be like this long of a wait sorry about that.
