Hi everyone, I present you my new story : Our Destiny. This is the first English story I write, I thought a lot about writing a Merthur story in English because English is not my native language. Every single day I'm trying to improve my English but I'm still not fluent so please be tolerant if I make any language or writing mistakes and tell me if I make one, I would be really grateful. Now I'm going to start this first chapter and I hope you'll like it.
A random evening, 20 years ago in Camelot
In a little house situated in the lower town of Camelot, a 5 years old boy and his father were talking together, sitting at the table waiting for the mother to bring the Dinner.
"Look Gabriel, I'm going to make a rose appears in my hand" The said father held out his open hand in front of his son. "Blóstmá" right after saying that, a rose appeared in the man's hand. "Wow ! Dad it's so beautiful, you should give it to mother !" said the young boy with enthusiam in his voice. "Yes you're right, she would love it".
"Love what ?" the woman approached the table with a pot half full of stew. Her husband gave her the rose with a touching smile, she replied giving him a soft kiss on the lips "Thank you".
Suddenly, the door burst open revealling the king followed by four knights. "You are all three accused to death from practicing magic" Uther Pendragon shouted with his usual cold voice. The woman let fall the pot out of her hands by surprise while her husband began to fight against the knights. "Isabelle take Gabriel and run !" The boy ran out of the door but just before the woman could exit, the king stopped her and stabbed her right in the chest. "NO!" her husband watched her falling on the floor with a loud sound, he fell on his knees just as a sword pierces him in the stomach. Gabriel, their son, assissted to the scene with tears running down his cheeks, he then ran away in the woods, promising to one day revenge his parents.
Present Day, still in Camelot
POV Merlin
"Merlin! wake up or you'll be late" Gaius's voice rang in my head as I jumped out of my small bed. I changed myself putting on a blue tunic, my brown trousers, my jacket, my boots and my famous red neckerchief. "Bye Gaius, have a good day" I took a piece of bread to eat it on the way.
"Rise and shine, what a beautiful sky today!" I said watching through the window after opening the king chambers's curtains. "Merlin Go awayyy" King prat muffled, head in his pillow. "No way, you have kingly duties to attend. You have training with the knights in half an hour and a meeting just after that" I said as I made my way to his bed. I put my arms around his waist getting him out of his royal bed. His naked back touching my chest, sending me butterflies to my stomach and heat to my cheeks. Why do I even feel that ?!
"Merlin! for god sakes put me down" Arthur said stopping me in my thoughts. I put him on the cold floor

After training, still Merlin POV
I was in the woods gathering herbs for Gaius when I saw someone. I approach the man slowly, he looks lost.
« Hey, can I help you ? »
« Um.. actually yes, do you know the way leading to Camelot ? »
« Yes, if you want you can come with me I'll lead you, let me just gather a few herbs before and I'm all yours (not THAT way) »
« It would be very nice thanks, so you live in Camelot ? »
« Yes, I'm the King's manservant »
« Really ? Wow that must be pretty exiting to work for the King »
« Yes but he can be quite a prat sometimes » I said and we both laugh.
We kept talking and laughing as if we always knew each other.
« I'm sorry but what did you say your name was ? »
« Sorry, my bad I never told you my name » he held out his hand to shake mine « Gabriel, you can call me Gabriel »
« Alright then, I'm Merlin nice to meet you » I say shaking his hand.
I turn my head to look in front of me.
« Looks like we made it, welcome to Camelot ! »
