"...And there's the library and the gym."

"Thank you so much for showing me around Cortez."

"I mean I didn't really have a choice since I was assigned by the office, but you welcome anyway." He licked his lips and winked.

I just turned my head and cleared my throat. The whole time he's been showing me around, he's been flirting nonstop and now it's annoying.

I can't believe I'm really here right now. I can already feel the positive energy. Nobody's put me down or looked at me weirdly. I feel like a normal student except for the fact that everybody knows me as Markells girl, some females didn't even want to know my name once they found out. I can tell how people are trying to keep their distance from me and that's not ok. Why would he do that? He says "I don't want these thirsty ass niggas going after what's mine." Doesn't he trust me?

"Well this is my first class."

"Aight, let me know if you need anymore help or if you just wanna...you know talk."

"Uh ok?" I gave a uncomfortable smile.

"I'm serious, I know what people might say about me but don't listen to them. I wanna get to know you better, but only if you'll let me."

"Thanks again, I got to go."

"Bet and remember what I said beautiful." He said walking backwards down the hallway.

I knocked on the door twice and waited. The door opened and I was met with a pale colored man, he looked to be in his forties with crystal blue eyes, brown hair and a nice built body.

"Hello you must be." he paused and looked down at his paperwork "Tyra Carter"

"Yeah."

"Well there's a seat right there and we will get you caught up in a minuet." He pointed to the seat. "Class, we have a new student her name is Tyra."

I received a few and waves and some didn't even pay attention. I heard some whisper about my relationship, once again. I made my way to the desk. I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Trev? I didn't know you were in this class."

"Well you know now, lil ugly."

"Shut up." I mean mugged

"So how's yall day been so far?"

"It's been ok, Cortez showed me around-"

"Cortez? I can't stand that nigga."

"Really, he's cool but he's a big flirt."

"Don't fall for that shit Ty. You know that's Kells boy and you need to tell him."

"Trevor you know how Markell is, he would go crazy and that's one of his close friends. It was just a little flirting here and there, but I promise if anything else happens I'll tell him."

"You better."

"Yes dad. Anyway as I was saying before being rudely interrupted, Cortez showed me around and I meet a couple people but they were kind of stuck up, and the people at the front office were nice. I think I'll like it here. But there is one problem."

"What?"

"How come everyone already knows who my boyfriend is and it's my first day? Did he just walk around and show my picture to everyone?"
