Yoongi tightly hugged Jin after the eldest managed to stutter out those few words. No more words were said.
Jin hoped Yoongi knew what he was doing, because he felt safer in his arms. The strange empty feeling persisted however. Jin felt strange. Crying would bring the relief that he wanted so badly, but as fate would have it, he couldn't cry at all. The result was an inner pain that threatened to break through his ribs and make itself known to the world.
"Things are happening too quickly for me to understand..." Jin's whimpers went unanswered.
He wanted Yoongi to talk, to distract him from the pain. But Yoongi held on tightly in silence.
Jin thought of himself as very tolerant of pain but here he was begging for the agony in his chest to stop.
No painkillers would help here.

Jungkook knocked on the door to Jin and Yoongi's room. He laughed to Jimin and Hoseok when nobody responded.
"They're probably still sleeping," Hoseok said while struggling to stop his laughs.
"It's eleven thirty!" Jimin yelled through the door. "Wake up!"
Other guests shot them strange looks as they walked past the members at the door.
Taehyung and Namjoon stood a little apart from them, faces blushing bright red from embarrassment.
"They already embarrass me at interviews, do they also have to do it here?" Namjoon mumbled under his breath.
Inside the room, however, it was a different story. Jin was sitting by his phone, refusing to let it out of his sight. Yoongi sat beside him. The rapper didn't really know how to comfort Jin, but he hoped the things he were doing were helping.
Jimin's yell sounded from outside followed by Hoseok and Jungkook's loud laughter.
Jin sighed. He wished he could be as happy as them. If only the pain would stop! If only everything was normal. His thoughts circled back to Seokjung. He tried to suppress the thoughts that he was having about his parents. He couldn't think properly.
Getting up as soon as he heard the eldest sigh, Yoongi ripped open the door to find Hoseok, Jimin and Jungkook with bright smiles on their faces.
"He is finally up!" Jungkook shrieked. He high fived Jimin.
"I thought we agreed that we would go see that cool bridge out by the Red River today!" Hoseok said.
Yoongi's face hardened. He looked back at Jin who shook his head. He didn't want to go. And if Jin didn't go, then Yoongi wouldn't go either.
"We're not going then."
"No!" Jungkook jumped through the doorframe before Yoongi could slam it shut. "We agreed to go! This is one of the last free times we have!"
