Season 1 Episode 13 - No Matter The Cost

PREVIOUSLY:
ALEX THREATENED ELENA FOR INTERFERING INTO LILLY'S BUSINESS.
STEFAN ASKED FOR ALEX'S HELP TO DISCOVER ABOUT DAMON'S PLAN.

Alex is standing outside the porch staring ahead when Damon walks outside and smiles as he sees the back of Alex and asks "There you are, why you out here?" Alex says "It helps me think" Damon asks "Think about what?" Alex looks at Damon and says "I love you Dame, you're my Big Brother and you have always been there for me since day one and I love you for that. But I know you and Stefan pretty well, I guess that's my job Y'know as your Sister and I know when something is bothering you both or if you two are up to something...so tell me Damon what's the plan?" Damon chuckles and asks "What makes you think that I have a plan?" Alex says "As I said I know you well, and you always have a plan, you always have had so what's the real reason you returned? Why have you came back to Mystic Falls?" Damon asks "Can I trust you?" Alex tilts her head to the side and asks "How can you even ask that? Ever since we were children I always have been there for you and always supported you. If you cant trust me who can you trust?" Damon nods and says "What I tell you needs to stay between us okay?" Alex nods and says "Just tell me Dame". After a moment Damon says "I want to open the tomb" Alex asks "The tomb?" Realisation washes over Alex's face and she puts her hands on her hips and says "The tomb that Katherine's trapped in?" Damon nods and Alex sighs and says "Damon you have got to let this go, after all this time. You couldnt open that tomb all those years ago you cant do it now. That tomb cant be opened, Emily Bennett made sure of that" and Damon says "I love her, we loved each other. What if it was Cyrus who was trapped in there you would do everything in your power to get him out. I want to get her out of the tomb and I'll leave with her" and a hurt expression fills Alex's face and she asks "You're leaving? You'll leave with her?! Yeah I guess that's right, I was expecting that. She's more important to you, she always has been!" Damon's face falls and Alex vamp speeds away.

Theres a knock at The Salvatore House and Cyrus opens the door and sees Tyler and Cyrus raises his eyebrow and asks "Tyler? What do you want?" Tyler nods and says "Mr. Fells I was wondering if Lilly was here? I need to speak to her" Cyrus glares at him and says "She's upstairs" and Cyrus steps aside as Tyler walks inside and Cyrus says as he closes the door "Oh and Tyler" Tyler looks back to Cyrus and Cyrus says "If you break my Daughters heart it'll be the last thing you do" and Tyler nods with fear across his face and he walks upstairs.

Alex paces up and down in her bedroom and she angrily walks towards her dressing table and throws everything off of the table when Cyrus walks into the bedroom. Cyrus asks "Lexa? What happened?" Alex looks to her Husband and says "Damon wants to open the tomb and save Katherine and run away with her!" Cyrus shrugs his shoulders and asks "and what the problem with that?" Alex says "That vampire slut has always tried to take My Brothers from me! She almost tore my Family apart a hundred years ago!" Cyrus says "Calm down Babe, Damon won't be opening that tomb anytime soon. This is just a wish that isnt going to get granted. Calm down nobody is going to take your Family from you I promise especially Katherine Pierce" and Alex begins to cry and Cyrus wipes away Alex's stray tears and he pulls her in for a hug and kisses her forehead.

Lilly is sitting on top of her bed when Tyler enters her bedroom and Lilly looks at Tyler and asks "What do you want? Get out!" Tyler says "I know you're pissed at me you have every right to be, but please let me explain" and Lilly says "You have five minutes". Tyler nods and he says "When you told me you were pregnant I - I freaked out okay. I never meant to hurt you, I always imagined I would have a future in Stanford then later in life get married and have kids not now" Lilly sighs and says "You've said your piece now go" Tyler says "You didnt let me finish.. when I met you I never thought you would mean so much to me but you do. Lilly I love you and I want to have a future with you and our baby" and Lilly's face lightens up and she asks "Really?" Tyler nods and he says "Yeah I've been doing a lotta thinking, that's if you'll take me back?" Lilly stands up and she approaches Tyler and says "Of course I do you idiot" and Tyler grins and Lilly leans in close to Tyler and they both share a longing kiss as their lips lock.

Later that night Alex is laying on the couch reading a book and Damon enters the lounge and he softly asks "Can we talk?" Alex says "I'm busy" and Damon deeply sighs. Damon walks towards the couch and he sits on the armchair and he says "I could never keep anything from you, I always wanted a Little Sister and when Mom and Dad told Stefan and me about you I was thrilled and you were born and the moment I saw your face i swore that i would do anything and everything to protect you no matter the cost. I love Katherine but i love you more, you're the most important person in my life, you always have been. It doesn't matter if Katherine is in my life I will always love you more than her, nobody could replace you" Alex asks "Really?" Damon smiles and he says "Yeah, Nobody and I mean nobody could ever replace my Twinkle" and Alex smiles and Damon leans towards Alex and he gently kisses Alex's temple and he says "I'm sorry" and he walks off and Alex smiles as she places her hand over her chest.

Hello everyone this is the end of Season 1. But I will be writing Season 2. It will be called 'The Story of Alexandra Salvatore Season 2'. I hope you enjoyed my fanfiction feel free to vote and comment love you all x.
